As summer is in full gear, and you may find yourself making those last minute vet visits for booking with a daycare/ boarding ..

Here are some things to consider while waiting at the vet. I’ve seen it all- we’ve had emergencies come in on the brink of life or death, a family with pets whose sick visit has turned into their last goodbye unexpectedly , dogs and cats that have needed just a little extra time to feel safe, and hospitals fitting your pets in an already full schedule because we want wants best for your pets- even if it means the receptionist, techs, vas and vets have to sacrifice their own breaks, work longer than already 12+ hour days, and stay late to do their own work long after you’ve gone home.
Please be kind, compassionate and patient. We never want to make you wait, but if you do- there is a reason why.

And just know, if you and your pet ever find yourself on the opposite end of this, we will give you the absolute same dedication, time and consideration to make sure your pet family is our number one priority.

Be kind to your veterinarian professionals, and next time you’re at the vet, thank them. It means the world to all of us.

Working in the vet field, we’ve been hearing this feedback and request over and over - and we’re proud to add another level to our concierge, one of a kind, offerings here at Halters to Leashes : Please Welcome our ✨Medication Management ✨ tier of service! This level of service is perfect for clients who have trouble administering medication due to physical or emotional limitations to their animals, those who are always on the go with time constraints but need medications given at a certain time everyday ( ie. Thyroid, insulin, etc), those who have vacations planned but would like the peace of mind of a true vet professional completing this service while away, and the many other groups of people who would benefit from this service. Let’s be honest, somtimes it’s nice to just not be the “bad guy” when it comes to meds !

What we are able to administer:
Eye drops, ointments
Ear drops, ointments
Oral pills ( we come with many “tricks” to try before we do a traditional dry pilling), syringe pilling for smaller pills/ liquids
Transdermal medications
Injections such as insulin
…..And more!

All services are done by a vet professional. Completely bonded and insured with over 25 years of pet care, rescue and foster/rehabilitation expierence.

This offering is going to be specially tailored to each unique pet based on frequency of need, what is needed and location of pet. We really hope this helps aid pet parents better, and can’t wait to get this ball rolling!

Super excited to share that we recently switched our insurance providers who we’ve been with for years- because not many insurance policies will cover our equine friends (can you believe that)! In favor of now being able to also include ourselves not only insured ( as we always have been properly with our farm friends), but also Bonded for our clients peace of mind! 🖤 We continually grow to serve you as best we can and hope this extra peace of mind is just the thing you need to hit that “message” button and book your meet and greet!

And please, if you have a professional or otherwise caring for your equines/farm animals- always make sure they are properly insured. Generic pet sitters insurance does not cover them. Let’s keep us all educated and safe 🐴

Hi everyone! It's sadly turning towards the end of summer so we all know what that means, school time! I have very limited spots for new dog walking clients Monday through Friday if you're interested in snagging a spot please speak up and let me know! Also now is the time to book for a holiday visits I will be offering them on a very limited basis hope everyone is having a great summer!

Happy july!

I can’t believe we have made it half way through the summer already!

I’ve had some openings pop up for the month of August, so if you’re looking for a pet sitter, please send me a message!

We also have TWO spots available for daily walks coming into the school session- these spots are hard to come by, and I do give a discount for multiple visits a week. I also WILL take clients with summers off ( not all sitters will do this!).

As a reminder I offer :
