Pip dancing Flamenco
It's Pip's 3rd Gotcha day, and only a couple of weeks until his 13th birthday. He's so important to me that I can't believe it's only been 3 years since I met him and fell in love. I was reluctant to take him on as we had so many dogs, but Rose at Second Chance Animal Rescue Southampton knew better and encouraged us to take him. I'm so thankful that she did!
This video is my absolute favourite one of him. Make sure your sound is on! He 'dances' like this with several of our dogs at home, but I have never managed to capture it on video. Last year when he stayed with a dear friend Louise Kirby who also has chihuahuas, when we went on holiday she managed to capture this magical, flirty flamenco! 💕🐾🤣 Make sure your sound is on!

Pip at Balloons 3
As the sun started to set on the balloons and the temperatures dipped`,Pip snuggled into his carrier to watch the balloons take off. I wondered how he would react to them as we had picked a good spot, and they were drifting over us at just 50 feet above us, with the burners roaring. Was Pip the Brave bothered? Not at all. Actually, he seemed rather bored! But we loved seeing them all and I'll post up a few photos in a moment.

We recently took Pip to the Northampton Balloon Festival. He was enjoying having a look around with Nigel so I got my camera out. Just before I started filming a cannon went off with a VERY loud bang, and it shocked everyone, including Pip. He spotted me and made a beeline for me and some Mummy-cuddles to help him recover!

Confidence building with Amy. Little Amy is friendly and outgoing in the paddock, but even after 2 years and much effort, she and Millie are still very wary of everything in the house. Here, her favourite person Wayne is working on building her confidence. Instead of getting her dinner in a bowl, he is using it to encourage her to eat off the rug. You can see that she finds even this challenging. In addition, we've put a large cardboard crate and a toilet roll inner on the bed to see if she'll eat the food when placed near them. This is pretty much impossible for her. Such a shame she is so frightened indoors.
