One year after completing our program, Team Harbor is still thriving! I visited them today as they took advantage of our lifetime support to fine-tune Harbor’s training plan, and it was so amazing to see how far they’ve come.

Our goal is lifelong success. Helping our clients stay on track is what it’s all about!

Welcome Phoebe to WAOK9! 🥳

Phoebe is about 1-1.5 years old “Something” Doodle (best guess is Aussiedoodle) who was saved by a dear friend of mine. Phoebe’s life before is unknown but she came with severely matted fur, infested by flees, underweight, extremely anxious, whiny, separation anxiety, all the “good stuff”. Poor thing was a hot mess both physically and mentally.

My friend has done an exceptionally good job cleaning her up, getting her used to being groomed (Phoebe loves the attention now), and they started crate training and loose leash walking right away with great success.

Here are their goals for Phoebe:
- enjoy off-leash adventures and be able to run as freely as her heart desires when playing fetch while also having a reliable recall for safety
- proper socialization: no jumping on people and the ability to be neutral around dogs when it’s not play time
- settle easier in new environments.

Even though the foundation is good, we still have some work to do. Stay tuned for her transformation!

Zoey’s field trips are becoming more and more enjoyable for both her and me. I love seeing this girl’s transformation from always on edge, fighting the imaginary threats (aka dogs) on every walk, every day to a confident, calm & collected love bug she is. 💜

Birdie’s first field trip was a success! She was learning to keep her cool and prioritize her handler while passing by people and other dogs. This new way of walking will be a game changer for her family and I’m excited for them to experience the joy and ease that walking Birdie brings.

Welcome Stella to WAOK9! 🥳

Stella, the Staffy mix will be about 7-8 months old by the time she’s joining us in December. She’s a super happy-go-lucky puppy who needs to learn how to live with kids and the family’s other dog and cat in harmony and peace.

Her family is also excited about our high quality ecollar training so Stella can join them on all kinds of off-leash adventures while they can keep her safe and away from bears, deer, and wildlife in general.

Welcome Cheddar to WAOK9! 🥳

Cheddar is a 4yrs old Pit mix who recently got adopted by one of our dear clients. This girly will be joining us in December to learn some manners, off-leash obedience, and that magical “off-switch” her owners love so much.
We’re so excited to meet Cheddar and spend 3-weeks of training and boarding her.

Of course, we had to stop and pose for a photo on Sumi’s first field trip. This pretty lady pup did such a great job and we both had so much fun practicing her skills in real life setting.

Welcome Grace to WAOK9! 🥳

Grace joined us for her 3-week board & train program this past Sunday, and she’s been adjusting and learning ever since. Her pawrents don’t have social media so all of her updates are sent directly to them.

We still wanted to welcome Grace here to make it official and I’m sure you’re going to see her here and there in pupdates and post as well.

She’s an 8 months old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier with full of energy and anxiety. One of their biggest concern was that she only pooped in the home, never outside. I’m happy to report: she’s been only peeing and pooping outside since she got here! The family would love her to learn manners and confidence around dogs, people, and loud noises, and they’re also excited about off-leash training. So we do it all!

Welcome Khloe to WAOK9! 🥳

Khloe’s big sister Khali went through our 3-week Board & Train program last year and they’ve been successfully keeping up with her training ever since.

Now, that Khloe joined the family, they would love her to be trained to the same high standards as her sister so they immediately signed her up for our program to make sure she has a spot by the time she gets old enough to train with us later this year. I can’t wait to meet her and work with her family for the second time! 🤩

Maxx’s ecollar needed a new antenna bc its cover had a crack on it and it’d come off easily, not protecting the antenna itself. It felt like I was playing with fire bc what if I drop it and it breaks off when I’m out and about having off leash fun with him?! Even though Maxx has a perfect recall, it was for my peace of mind that I decided not to wait until it completely broke off but replace it asap. (I’m keeping the old one for emergency backup since the antenna itself still works.) I’ve been loving the Magenta color skin since before it was even available for sale so now, with the facelift, Maxx’s ecollar got a new set as well.
