🚨🚨FOR SALE: Three-story home, fully furnished, featuring two bedrooms, one bath, a shingled exterior, and expansive loft space on the top floor. Contains a fireplace, sewing/craft area, eat-in kitchen, and a large tub perfect for bubble baths. Asking price: $5 and a little luck!

The house – really a dollhouse – is being raffled off by Neponset Valley Humane Society as a fundraiser to help area cats and kittens.

The 21 by 26-inch structure, with battery-operated ceiling lights, was built and donated by Avon, Mass., resident Gail Lounge who has been constructing dollhouses for over twenty years. This particular model took her many hours over three months.

“We are excited for this auction and hope this unique offering will raise much needed funds. We’ve had a huge influx of kittens this year. Keeping them fed, housed, and in foster care has depleted our reserves,” said Cathy Tainter, the Society’s president. “Any child would love to receive a beautiful, handcrafted piece such as this, making it a fun way to show support for NVHS.”
