Charles raised labs for years and then he encountered the ultimate hunting dog, the Pudelpointer.

Please help by sharing, talking to friends and let me know if you have an open door and heart.

As many of you know, Dad passed away on September 15. In his writing, he worded it as this: My first love is my wife, second is kids and family and my third love is my dogs, hunting, especially waterfowl. We referred to Pops as The Dogfather for that reason. A number of you have pups from Shelly and Stormy.

Shelly was born May 2, 2015. She loves to have a job. She’s great with other animals and kids. Currently she carries her rope everywhere as if it is her job and is being spoiled by running through the house. Shelly has the energy of a 2 year old. She will retrieve for countless hours, has a love for any stick she finds and I’m praying she finds a forever home on a farm, running after kids or other animals. Shelly has a love and passion for the hunt and to serve.

Pudelpointers are exceptional dogs, I currently have two and need to get her rehomed so I can return to my pups in Pennsylvania.

To our Little Egypt Pudelpointer Community:

It is with great sadness that we announce that our Patriarch, Charles “Charlie” Laurenti passed away earlier this week in the presence of his family.

Charlie was very specific with his instructions to his family when he passed: “Do not cry for me- I’m reunited with the love of my life again.” To keep his memory alive- please feel free to share a fun memory you’ve shared with him- or give an update on one of the pups that came from Little Egypt.

Charlie Left Behind 3 beautiful Pudelpointers- Shelly, Stormy, and Cici. Rehoming is our next step for these beautiful girls after our family has time to cover them in love.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 20th.

This is Christi with LEP. Due to health issues with my dad, Charles, we have to rehome a 7 year old Czk Republic female. Cici really is a great girl, she was trained to hunt anything with fur and feathers. She scored high on European tests and is a strong hunter. She does it all including a run in with a bobcat.

SHE HAS TO BE AN ONLY PET as she was trained to hunt fur also. She no longer has heats and is a great and loving girl. We also do not recommend she is around small children as we do not know how she would act if a child were to pull her tail or catch her off guard.

She needs a place to run, hunt and enjoy her days. You would have to pick her up as my father is unable to travel long distances. Call Charles for further information at 618 932 2280. We are located in Southern Illinois, two hours from ST Louis, three from Nashville. Please share this as I really want to find her a great home.
