So it's the morning of granddaughters. I'm so proud of the way these girls have trusted my direction and worked with my dogs though. Two years ago they couldn't walk in the house without Anna being crated because she was afraid of kids. Lots of patience, treats and counterconditioning (with close supervision) have brought us to this point this morning. Katie and Anna sharing some facetime!

Meet Walter, whose owner had problems with his charging the neighbor dogs! Now, they can even play and he controls himself! Kudos to Eliza for her dedicated work rehearsing his impulse control and recall behaviors! Walter now prefers Eliza and her treats than barking at the neighbors!! Brilliant!

Fear Free Certified Trainer

My name is Kathryn Boccia, and I am a certified fear and aggression behavior consultant in the Canisteo Valley Area. I am a graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers, an extensive two-year program in proper and effective dog training. My goal is to help you develop the relationship and behaviors you want from your dog with effective, fear free and reward based training. You don’t have to deal with unwanted doggie behavior alone! Always remember, until you build the behavior, dogs don't know sit.
