Check out our website! Mom and Dad are there.
Hi! Hope y’all are doing well today! We want to go on a vacation! We will go just as soon as we can find homes for our puppies. If you are looking for a puppy give us a call! We have ways to make this happen for you!
Petunia and Willow are looking for their forever homes. Petunia is looking for a guardian home, she is the cream puppy. “P” as we call her, will be a standard ALD, but on the smaller side. Give us a call if you are interested! Willow will be a full-sized standard. P is outgoing and wants attention whereas Willow is more laid back. However, they both love to tear around in the backyard and play in the small wading pool. The priority in our breeding program is health and temperament.
We are members of the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association and adhere to their code of ethics and breeding requirements! They are true multigenerational ALDs with predictable temperaments and no known health issues.
Note: There are no upfront costs for guardian home! Breeding costs are ours. General medical costs, i.e. vaccinations and yearly health check-ups, as well as general maintenance costs, are the responsibility of the guardian home. Please take a look at all the particulars on our website under the tab Availability & Forms.

I copied this from Googles' People Ask .....
Is OFA or PennHIP better?
PennHip radiographs can be performed on puppies as early as 16 weeks of age. PennHip radiographs, with their calculated distraction index, are more objective than OFA radiographs, which are graded on a subjective scale. PennHip radiographs are more sensitive for detecting hip dysplasia than OFA radiographs.

Pros and Cons of PennHip and OFA Hip Radiographs: Review for Vet Students

There are two methods commonly used to evaluate the hips of young dogs: PennHip radiographs and the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) hip radiographs.

I just received this from another breeder and thought I might share it.
POTENTIAL OWNER: How much is the puppy?
BREEDER: $3000+ dollars.
POTENTIAL OWNER: What?? It's way too expensive!!
BREEDER: What do you think would be a good price?
POTENTIAL OWNER: No more than $500. You reputable breeders are so overpriced.
BREEDER: I am sorry you see it this way, why don't you try it yourself?
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I've never done it!
BREEDER: For FREE I can teach you how to do it, and in addition, you will have the knowledge to do it again.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Perfect, thank you!
BREEDER: To start you will need a female (average cost $15,000 and up) and a male (average cost $10,000 and up) or semen (average $1200 and up). You will need to do genetic & health testing on them, which averages about $800+ per dog. Let's not forget progesterone testings, inseminations, ultrasounds, x-rays, semen collections, semen analysis, potentially semen overnight shipping, and so on ($1500+). Raise and provide daily care, feeding & grooming for 2 years. (minimal $250 per month) Oh, don’t forget monthly prevention, annual vet visits, and any other additional vet visits.
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have that much money...
BREEDER: For $1200 you can raise a litter and then keep one of the puppies. Obviously, you will pay the cost of whelping & care.
POTENTIAL OWNER: I can do that.
BREEDER: OK so I have a female due to whelp in 2 weeks. You will need to be available 24/7 around the clock for at least 10 weeks to help with delivery and care. ( a million loads of laundry) Another 4-plus weeks to monitor mom and puppies.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Fourteen weeks?? it's way too much time for me! I have to work.
BREEDER: Plus You will need to be available for puppy families to call you 24/7 with a worry or concern no matter the age. You Must also be ready to take back the puppy/dog at any age if the family has an unforeseen emergency.
BREEDER: You will also need the reproductive vet to do progesterone testing($110/ test ) & C-section($1000-$5000) and initial vet care on pups until old enough to be placed ($800+).
Have on hand a scale, thermometer, latex gloves, puppy pads, incubator, oxygen concentrator, nebulizer, heating lamp, whelping box, puppy pen, blankets, toys, bowls, cleaning supplies, appropriate food with supplements for mothers, formula, medications & hand feeding supplies in case of emergency....
POTENTIAL OWNER: But I don't have all these things!
BREEDER: For $5000+ you can buy them.
POTENTIAL OWNER: Ummm .... You know, I think it might be better if I just buy a puppy.
BREEDER: Wise decision.
For us, there are few vacations or holidays. While you go to visit with family & friends we are home at our dogs side caring for them. It is a no breaks commitment.
THIS IS THE REALITY
When you choose a reputable person, you aren’t only purchasing the puppy but also: knowledge, support , experience, love, time, sacrifices, etc...
**Plus the cost of lifetime support to the puppy owners…
These numbers are just the tip of the iceberg (best case scenario!!!) as a reputable breeder who takes on this journey full time!

9 Chain Restaurants With Dog Treats
By Jessika Zachary
Published: Jun 14, 2019 | 3 Minutes

From AKC

No shirt, no shoes, no service — a phrase common across the food and beverage industry. But no dogs? That’s a phrase that multiple chain restaurants don’t have in their vocabulary. In fact, these nine restaurants with dog treats offer everything from sweet biscuit treats to canine-friendly hamburger patties. Next time you visit one of the following chains, you can pick up something for your dog, as well.

While these are treats created for your pet, give them to your dog in moderation. Some of these items include dairy, sugar, or fat, which can cause stomach issues or weight gain. While it is fine for dogs to have a little milk, owners should be aware of the symptoms of lactose intolerance in dogs.

1. Dunkin’ Donuts
America may run on Dunkin’, but when you are in the drive-thru with your cuddly companion, ask the staff for a puppy latte — whipped cream in a cup. And if you want to sit and stay awhile, ask them for dog treats.

2. Starbucks
This list wouldn’t be complete without the famous Puppuccino. All you have to do is ask your barista for the lickable treat, which is made out with a small amount of espresso and whipped cream.

3. Shake Shack
This chain started out as a hot dog vendor in the middle of New York’s Madison Square Park, which includes a well-visited dog hangout for furry friends. In honor of its roots, this chain features a “For Dogs” menu on their website, but when visiting, ask for a Pooch-ini. This small dessert includes dog biscuits and vanilla custard. Owners can also pick up a Bag O’ Bones, which is a bag of five dog biscuits made by New York’s Bocce’s Bakery.

4. Sprinkles
This cupcake and dessert chain started out as a Beverly Hills bakery in 2005, but in 2012 created the first cupcake ATM. Now, their menu includes sweet treats for dogs. Their Pupcakes, made out of sugar, egg whites, and buttermilk, also come in a sugar-free version. These small cupcakes are topped with yogurt “frosting.”

5. Culver’s
Known for their fresh custard, Culver’s offers dog biscuits. If you go to the drive-thru at specific locations, you can ask them for a little extra treat. Their milk bone will come with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but make sure to enjoy it in moderation.

6. Dairy Queen
A rival of frozen custard, but known for its famous Blizzard, Dairy Queen also offers Pup Cups. Similar to the others in this list, it includes a dog treat smack dab in the middle of vanilla ice cream.

7. In-N-Out
This Southwest and Pacific Coast chain offers a couple of options for your dog. The first is a pup patty, which is a salt-free burger. The second, Flying Dutchman, consists of two beef patties with a slice of cheese. Your dog will have you flying across the country to have a taste.

8. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
Though this chain is predominantly located in Southern California, it does have locations in other states like Texas, Illinois, and Georgia. On their website, the company flaunts their dog menu to honor the name, and the menu includes a complimentary bowl of water with a choice of grilled chicken breast, grilled hamburger patty, or brown rice.

9. Johnny Rockets
This franchise takes after the 1950s era with its diner decor but showcases its love for your dogs. The chain will serve your pup a cut-up hamburger patty with a bowl of water.

NOTE: These treats contain extra calories, which may cause weight gain, as well as added fat or sugar. These treats may not be suitable if your dog is dealing with obesity or canine diabetes, if they have a history of intolerance to dairy products, or if they’re vulnerable to gastrointestinal issues and pancreatitis. Because of these, use common sense, ask your veterinarian when in doubt, and remember, your dog should enjoy all treats in moderation.

Preparing Your Dog’s Table Manners
Etiquette isn’t just for humans! There’s a lot to consider before bringing your pet dog to restaurants with dog treats. For example, it’s a good idea to refresh important cues like “leave it” and “watch me.” This will ensure that your dog doesn’t eat anything they’re not supposed to.

You may also want to enroll in the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program. CGC can teach your dog good manners that they can use in public places like restaurants with dog treats.

Did you know this about tomatoes? I didn't. I do store them on the counter. This is from The Kitchn - yes it is spelled correctly https://www.thekitchn.com/best-way-to-store-tomatoes-23557385
Photo missing of a beefsteak tomato with the stem side up with scotch tape on the stem on a marble surface.

Tomato Storage Method: Stem Side-Up with a Taped Stem
State after 10 days: Delicious and visibly unchanged
Rating: 10/10
This method was tested by Serious Eats. This particular technique was my absolute favorite! It was simple and quick and I didn’t have to worry about my cat constantly batting my upside-down tomatoes right-side up. The theory is the same as the upside-down tomatoes, in which you create a barrier to potential bits of bacteria and mold. Place a small piece of tape (any kind will do) over the small stem bump and leave it there until you are ready to use your tomato.

I was thrilled to see the tomato was essentially the same as when I’d purchased it 10 days ago. The skin was tight, there was no visible moisture loss, and when I lightly pressed on the tomato, it bounced back easily. Once you’re ready to put BLTs on the dinner menu, just remove the tape and slice them up.

Again, skipping the step of refrigerating and bringing the tomato back to room temperature made my weeknight meal easy and accessible.

Takeaways
If you have a bit of tape on hand and under two minutes to spare, tape your tomatoes! It was the easiest, most efficient way to prevent tomatoes from spoiling too quickly and kept them fresh for 10 days. If you don’t, storing them upside down is a close second.

One simple step made a huge difference.
