Wow! I follow Southend Dog Training and love his techniques. I too have used this "SIT" command when an off lease dog tried to attack my Jackson. It really works because I don't take s**t from anyone! Knowledge is Power, use it.

Yesterday I went for a walk around my neighbourhood - I live in South Africa so 95% of properties are fenced and most have dogs for protection - but a dog got out of an open gate and flew at me. Bite my arm (60 stitches later) and pulled me onto the ground (and I weigh 70kgs so am not a lightweight at all). When I was on the ground I actually thought 'well, this is how dog attacks end in death - the damn dog is going to go for my throat' and then I remembered a training video from you where you said shout SIT. It worked - the dog looked very confused and backed off and I was able to get up and just kept shouting SIT and GET AWAY until the owner came out. It wanted to come at me again but I just kept on shouting SIT - one thing to note though - don't use any arm movements as this piqued his interest in me again.
Thank you, thank you, thank you and I am going to spread this jewel of info to everyone I see."

Heads up peeps. Please ensure your dog is wearing a collar with your phone number in case she gets out, and PLEASE keep your dog safe.
Make sure you have your microchip info updated, have your phone number on your dogs collar or ID tag.
If you do not know how your dog will do with fireworks please be prepared for the worst case scenario!
Contact your vet for anxiety meds; pick up CBD oil (and try your dog/cat on it ahead of time so you know their needed dosage) and pick up a thundershirt.
Starting on the 1st of July, expect fireworks. Even in your own fenced backyard Keep your dog on a leash until you know how they are going to react and if they show any signs of anxiety or fear, keep them on a leash every single time you take them for a potty break for up to a week past the 4th.
It is so much better to be prepared and take safety to a higher level as people every year will lose their pets because they assume everything will be ok and will not be prepared or take safety measures.
Let’s have less losses and protect our pets!
If you live in an area where fireworks are illegal, please respect those laws and remember many people have animals and wildlife that cannot be brought indoors safely, and you are jeopardizing the lives of those animals as well!!

We, at K9 Crack, have been making training treats since 2007. Originally under the name HawaiiDoggyStyle we established a successful dog treat business in Haleiwa, Hawaii our most successful product being K9Crack, a K9 treat for fussy dogs. However, it transpired that all dogs loved our K9Crack and it proved to be an ideal training aid to even the most distracted pup and a great ‘lure’ for those exquisite Yuppie Puppies that frequent the show ring. So, when we moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 2014 we decided to re-brand ourselves after our bestselling product, and re-launch ourselves in 2019 as K9Crack:
