Been asked by many about a future Goldendoodle pup. It all depends on our economy and the outcome of the presidential election. If we have yet another 4 years of what we just experienced financially, then no. If there are some much needed changes and hope for the future, then yes. It's as simple as that.
Sad day :( Our breeding ram, Clyde Junior, passed through the night. Looks like he was bitten by a rattlesnake. He was just fine last night, eating away at feeding time. At least we have a ewe lamb and ram lamb from him prior to this unexpected mishap. He wasn't with us very long!

So last night we were blessed with two new additions to our farm, Downy and Bounce, a ewe and ram lambs. Mom is Bonnie, a Dorper ewe, and Clyde Junior is the father. This was my first experience with lambs, and it all happened within an hour. We will keep Downy for future breeding, but not too sure about Bounce's outcome yet. He is by far the most energetic of the two and loves to hop like a rabbit. Downy is named after the fabric softener that had a lamb character as the logo. Now we have a week's supervision before we are over the hump, and will be banding their tails Wednesday. Too cute!
Might go ahead with a litter of Goldendoodles in the near future. If so, I will breed in August for a Christmas litter to go home. We finally got our barn finished and a new whelping room completed with better lighting, heat, hot and cold water for cleanups, refrigerator, couch, bedrooms completed. It's primarily a barn/guest house, but we never get guests. With four indoor stalls now converted into rooms with wood floors and furnished, it's perfect for a whelping location. Might as well use it to benefit puppy rearing. As it is, the barn cats enjoy it while keeping mice out. Plus there's a full bathroom with hot and cold water. We're adding a woodburning stove for winter heating and finishing the ceiling so the rafters are not visible. Quite the project, but I'd like to get some use out of it now :)
Kombucha doing fabulous! New scoby growing on top and it tastes great! PH level needs to bump up just a little, then I can start a new batch and we can drink this one. Got my yogurt culturing in the corner. Yum! The crocks are for the fermenting purple and green sauerkrauts, the fermented pickles, amazing tasty fermented brussel sprouts and more! Loving this healthy food kick!
How's all of my puppy parents doing? I hope your beloved doodles are as sweet and wonderful as my Little Man. He is our joy. Even my husband cannot imagine life without him. I'm here to ask for help in finding new homes for my momma dogs. If my husband is ever to retire, we need to rehome a number of our critters, and the dogs are priority. I have three AKC Labradoodle moms (Salem (chocolate), Cinder (black) and Savannah (black)). All are sisters from the same litter but I promise you, they will be very happy simply receiving lots of TLC. We also have one gorgeous AKC Golden Retriever, Sedona, that has not been bred. We've raised each one of these dogs from pups. I will be honest, after finding out what a deceiving couple from Safford did to us a couple years ago by lying and then abandoning our two beautiful yellow labs in the desert when they attempted to breed them and were unsuccessful (I was rehoming them due to delivery difficulties with no breeding rights, and was promised they would be spayed--I can't trust anyone). Later, when a fellow buyer of one of my puppies notified me that she had seen the two girls advertised in a Phoenix shelter, I was devastated and in tears. As a Christian, I tend to trust all, but it seems that I cannot do that. So anyone who is interested will be run through the wringer on questions. I would so prefer that previous buyers of my pups opt to try and get the mom of their pup to be a part of their fur family. That's the best case scenario. We will even deliver (within reason). Who wants a Goldendoodle? People are asking about puppies and have been for some time (a year now).
My pride and joy! Little Man! A black phantom Golden Doodle (see the colors on the side of his face). Came as the runt from one of my litters and was syringe nursed as he was too small and weak to latch onto mama. My boy is amazingly smart. Potty trained in two weeks. He is my best friend while the hubby works. I can't imagine my life without him. This is the quality of the pups I used to provide to those special families.
I have discovered that many 'breeders' are experiencing issues with buyers following through on purchases lately. I guess I was not the only one to deal with this problem. I do feel our current inflated economy has a lot to do with this. Especially our concerns about our future in this politically failing nation and the excessive lawlessness among our administrative leaders. I told my husband this reminds me of Caesar and how his Congress took over then assassinated him. After that Congress called all the shots. But never the people! We are in that same situation now, which is sad. So, though I've sworn off having doodles anymore, I do have people asking when and if I will. I've decided to wait until after the presidential election in 2024. I believe that election will make or break this country, and if it's what we need to save our country financially, then I will resume this avenue.
Attention all Marana folks! Don't put your hard-earned dollars into the Sprouts on Thornydale and Orange Grove. We just had a very unpleasant experience with their store manager, Armando Bernal. I simply asked why they charge for each plastic bag we needed to carry out our $100+ of produce and he rudely responded with a snide remark to our cashier to give us our bags for free then made another snide comment about it to the customer he was cashing out. Not okay! I told him to keep his bags, thanks anyway. In turn I reported his terrible attitude to the corporate office. If Anheiser Busch can lose billions in profit by consumer blackball and a refusal to buy their product, then so can Sprouts. They are not the only organic store around! Don't feed those bad stores by making purchases. I told my husband they will probably start charging rental on their carts as well. In this day and age of high inflation, we can speak volumes simply by shopping elsewhere, and we will! Plus I grow my own beautiful produce like the photo indicates from last year's production. We don't need no stinking Sprouts!

Meet Goliath! Our future family addition. I had to rehome my Golden Doodles as my house is too small to accommodate 3 or even 2 large dogs. I found a happy medium with this adorable Miniature Dachshund boy. I will also be doing a series on Ride 'em Cowboys that will be titled "A Day on the Farm with Goliath!" Like all other puppy parents I will share in both the trial and errors of raising this little 'bean' while tending to the farm, and introducing him to the barnyard critters along the way. I hope the cats don't beat him up!
I had been asked about the CKC registration forms that I used to fill out many years ago for my doodles. This was a courtesy, and a valued asset at the time as it required me to fill out forms through the CKC to confirm that both parents were AKC/CKC registered and it legitimized the puppy as an official F1 through the CKC. It was time consuming and I had to pay for that as well. My response is I haven't done that for some time once my fees dropped to ridiculous lows. Additionally, some buyers were using their puppies for breeding and highly sought that confirmation to legitimize sales. The big discount means no perks, unless someone wishes to pay me additional fees for that service, but it won't be cheap. My service was the cheapest in the state for healthy genetically tested F1s. Nobody else would ever consider such low fees. So to provide the authentication on top of it, out of my pocket, plus the time invested is unfortunately not available. It also prevents those dishonest few that breed despite my discouragement. To legitimize the puppies on their end is impossible without the paperwork. So I'm sorry, but that authentication is not available and hasn't been for years :(
All pups are now in their new homes. So glad! Goodbye puppies! I can now fully retire and enjoy myself. Ride em Cowboys wishes you all a wonderful life! Adios!

This little girl is available AGAIN . Last buyer backed out at 5 AM this morning. This is why I have no faith in people at all. I so trusted her too. But no. This is the fifth drop out, third one on this pup. Also the first time ever that someone has backed out the morning of delivery. And people wonder why I am done with this career. It's about the pup, not me. She is three five zero and available. Very sweet and quiet.
I'm so excited about getting these pups to their new homes that I'm ready to feed them dinner, load them into the crate in the car, jump in with a sleeping bag and call it a night! I can get breakfast at McD's on the way out in the morning with a hot cup of Jo while whistling 'Dixie' all the way to the first drop off 😂 How do I spell relief? No more puppies!!! No more puppy p**p. No more puppy barking. No more puppy cleaning. No more puppy shots. No more puppy birthing. No more puppy babysitting. No more puppy weaning. And most of all, no more puppy rehoming! Finally, after four long, brutal, nerve-wracking months, I can have a life :)
Lord, protect these sweet pups that I have given such a large part of my life to. Please keep them healthy, safe, and protected by you at all times. Allow them to be your light and a testimony of your love by providing them as companions and best friends for all of mankind. I know I will see them again in heaven, but in the meantime, let them feel nothing but love and gratitude in this earthly life as they plant smiles on many faces. These things are said in Jesus' name, Amen!

So there is one more drop out. I am so glad this is my last litter! I'm elated to put this all behind me due to so much stress with this last litter. I have an all black female pup available. She goes home this Sunday. Contact me for a truly great price!
If there is anyone at all having 2nd thoughts about your puppy, I need to know now before putting it through a long day and 300+ mile drive this coming Sunday. It is very hard on them to undergo such a rigorous new experience, especially if their proposed owner does not show up to get them. I'd like to think everyone is an adult and can take the time to let me know if there has been a sudden change in their plans to pick up their puppy. All but one have confirmed, and I'm hoping that the one remaining will come through. To take the pup back up our long dirt road all by itself would be additionally traumatic. So please let me know if you cannot, will not be able to get your puppy. This is my last litter and I'd like it to end on a good note for myself and for these little sweethearts. I'm fairly certain all will show, but just want to confirm how so very important this is to the health and well being of these puppies. Thanks for hearing me out :)
FYI, thank you to all those who have been the loyal, faithful, and reliable owners of my puppies. It's not always been an easy ride for me, and there have been those few who have done a terrible injustice to their puppy which truly broke my heart, but the rest of you have all done a fabulous job of loving and caring for these little darlings that I have provided. I have my Little Man, my Golden Doodle who is absolutely the love of my life and my husband's. I could never imagine my life without this precious fluff ball who adores me! So I, too, carry a product of Cowboy with me forever, and I couldn't be happier! You guys have been great, and I do appreciate you! This site will likely focus on our bee keeping future along with our farming prospects and possible business ventures. We like to keep life interesting! I will toss in photos of past pups as they are submitted to me, just so you can see how some of the siblings have grown up. Big sloppy hugs and kisses to some truly wonderful families!!!
All pups have homes, as does my beautiful Raggedy Ann. It will be bittersweet letting her go, but she will be with a sibling and loving the one-on-one attention she will receive. I am thrilled she will be getting this kind of attention. She will also be in a bigger home. This is what she really needed. So though I fell in love with her markings and nature, I feel great that she is going to be with another doodle sister and have lots of room to grow with her! Raggedy goes to her new home this coming Friday. Also, one of my buyers son and husband got Covid, and her boy is having a really tough time fighting it. Please share your prayers for Sunny's son, and give a few moments of your faith in her behalf! I know how awful this stuff can be as it scared me to death when I couldn't breathe, so I can imagine how scary it must be for Sunny's little boy. Prayers are free. It's our love for others that show we care, and if we pray in unison, the Lord listens. Hi all. Since I am done providing doodles as of this last litter I am looking to place Raggedy Ann into a good home as well. She is a beautiful black and white 6 month old Golden Doodle, house-trained (to my home), is doing fabulous in her vest and leash training, and has a very sweet personality. But my home really is too small for multiple dogs, so I'd like to rehome her. She is super compatible with other dogs. Like any pup she can get bored, but I have lots of aggressive chew toys to keep her busy and she adores bully bones. If interested, message me. I will be incredibly picky about her new home.
Cowboy is on the neuter list! Finally, it will all be over! I told my husband that I had no doubt whatsoever that someone would, at the very last minute back out. I wasn't disappointed! I was actually not surprised at all as it is a 2nd time the commitment of getting a puppy from me was broken by the exact same individual. This is exactly why I am moving on and will never, ever provide this service again. The little female was just deposited (phew!). Sooo relieved! To have homes for every single pup means the world to me, especially when we endured a Covid event. The stress level of having a last minute back out only adds to my health concerns. But on this note, all are now homed, all will be loved and happy, and I have to say this is the very best litter I have ever had!!!

Hooray for Epiphany! She opted to give the last precious female a home with her beloved 'Zuni', another one of Cowboy's pups purchased in the past. So now she has a playmate!!! Okay folks. This lady is completely done with puppies. I will continue to send out weekly photo updates to all receiving a puppy from this litter, but we are only looking at about 3 weeks and a couple of days before they all go to their new homes :) Bye' bye' puppies, and Ride 'em Cowboys :)
I have one chocolate female F1 Labradoodle pup available with white stripe down her chest. As we know, there is always one person who changes their mind. So, get her while you can! Goes home May 28th, or you can come pick her up and see the farm. Completely up to you!
Well okay then. That happened fast!!! Last two have homes now and will live very wonderful lives :) Super pleased with the placement of the puppies in this litter as all seem to be amazing families. Thank you, each and every one of you, for taking in one of my sweet pups to be their forever family! Some with kids, some with past siblings as playmates...it is just wonderful to know they will all be safe, loved, and very well taken care of. I thank God for that as a piece of my heart goes along with them forever!
So the female just got placed, and only the male chocolate is yet available. He is the last :)

NOT AVAILABLE!!! I have DECIDED TO KEEP THIS runt black and tan male Goldendoodle that has been bottle fed and constantly handled AS HE HAS CAPTURED MY HEART. He has been given a clean bill of health for the 2nd time and will just be very small at around 30 to 35 lbs full grown, so like a mini Goldendoodle. I'm good with that. He also has the black and tan phantom colors on face and legs and is super curly. He is NO LONGER available and will be used for future F1bs (backbred to my Golden Retrievers and Labradors as momma is being spayed and retired). I have struggled with this decision for some time, thinking he would be better off in a new home, but since he can eventually pay his way I feel I have justified having him stay with me :) Yes, this is a first for me as I have only kept one off spring Labradoodle over the years, and rehomed her because of my difficult H.O.A., but now I'm keeping this boy and nothing is going to change my mind :)
Wanted to share a video I did with my current litter of Labradoodles using slow feeder bowls. My internet is spotty at best so bear with the brief lapse for a few seconds before action begins again. For names by collar color, blue is Blue, Pink is Maggie, green is Max, black is Mr. Roger's, orange is Eevee, yellow is Duke, brown is Bruno.
