Sparrow is a sweet, playful girl with a heart full of love and a boundless amount of energy! With her adorable puppy eyes and charming personality, she’s always ready to steal your heart (and maybe your snack). Play hard, nap hard—that’s her motto. This little lady loves her zoomies, whether in the yard or racing around the house with her foster brother. She’s also a pro at chasing the vacuum and mop—she thinks it’s a game! But when playtime is over, she’s all about snuggling up for a well-deserved nap.

Sparrow’s excitement level is off the charts when her kids come home from school, and she’ll greet them with a wagging tail and a few happy jumps. She’s a social butterfly, eager to make new friends and be the center of attention.

Sparrow is smart and knows her commands, especially when treats are in the mix! “Sit” and “down” are her go-to moves. She’s a quick learner and loves to show off. If you're looking for a dog who will be your little shadow and always want to be involved in whatever you’re doing, Sparrow is your girl. This adorable little lady loves her people and her four-legged friends. She’s great with kids, other dogs, and well-adjusted cats (though she might indulge in a little playful chase now and then!). She’s house-trained and will give you a soft cry when she needs to go outside. While Pip’s not the biggest fan of her crate, she settles in after a few minutes and enjoys a calm moment to herself. Finch is never shy about showing his affection with sweet, gentle kisses and sometimes a little nibble. He also loves getting scratches behind those big, floppy ears of his!

We are begging for help. Right now, our intakes are closed due to a lack of foster homes. Our inbox is flooded daily with requests to surrender dogs, and heartbreaking rescue cases keep coming in—but we have nowhere for them to go.

🐶 We need foster homes. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, please apply. Even if you’re unsure, our team will help match you with the right dog for your home. Our team will help support you and guide you along the way. Fostering saves lives.

🏡 We also have amazing dogs waiting for forever homes. Some have been in our care for nearly a year so we can confidently say which ones do well with kids, cats, and other dogs.

📍 Fosters must be within 1 hour of Edmonton. We provide all supplies and cover vet costs! We do ask that foster homes have a fenced yard and that resident pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations for safety reasons.

We are trying so hard to help these dogs, but without foster homes, we have no choice but to turn them away. Please consider opening your home—whether to foster or adopt.

We are pleased to join the ranks of animal rescue organizations in the Edmonton, Alberta and it surrounding areas. We are a 100% volunteer run registered Society in the Province of Alberta that began operation in July 2019.

We advocate and provide care for dogs that have been abandoned, abused or surrendered to our non-profit organization. We provide veterinary care for these dogs and place them within foster homes that provide love and support to the animal to reach the ultimate goal of being adopted into their forever home.
