Cody training update... when we first rescued him, I had visions of playing agility with him. Then I found out how damaged he was. I don't think he is stupid, he's clever enough to figure out how to do anything he needs in life (re - he's a 1st rate food thief and counter surfing king), but Cody seems to process things quite differently than most dogs.
After almost 3 years, he can sit in different rooms and the wave is his own idea that I'm trying to capture and put on cue. At the beginning of the video, you can see how reluctant he still is to come in with me in that space. 6 months ago, even that was impossible! He is free to leave whenever he feels the need, but chooses to stay and work with me - that's everything to me!
Please note the customized doggy door. It is a one of a kind masterpiece, but if you are super interested in having one like it for yourself, I'm sure Piyat would be happy to customize another one!

This is the video of Cody taking that same snail toy out to Cody mountain... Piyat tries to dissuade him, but Cody wins and takes the toy out. The other video shows play coming back inside about 30 seconds later. 🤣🤣

Cody update... he is so cute with Piyat!! Of course, Weego alerted me to check the camera for cuteness.... he did not lie. The 1st 30 seconds are hilarious in context. The next video will show Cody taking a toy out side. This happened right after - Piyat returned the toy inside! 🤣🤣

After almost 3 years in my house, Cody can sit on cue!! We have been practicing this for 1 week. We haven't tried it in other rooms, but he can sit - on cue! - in his (my) room!!
The little wave at the end is entirely him, it makes my heart gooey!💖🐾💖
Weego is a champ, and waits on the bed while I fuss over Cody.
The balance of his meal was eaten from the chewy snuffle box.
