Our Christmas babies are almost 4 weeks old and loving the treats coming from our garden! Right now, we’re gearing up for cold and rain here in central FL, and northern Florida is bracing for snow and ice! No matter the weather, these little ones never fail to bring a smile with their cuteness.

This weekend was the Florida State Rabbit & Cavy Breeder’s Association Convention—a big two-day event with tough competition and beautiful rabbits.

Jacob competed in two open shows and did well. In Open Show A, his black otter buck earned Best Opposite S*x of Breed under Judge Wendy Lange, who traveled all the way from Washington for the convention. It’s always interesting to show under new judges from other parts of the country and hear their perspective on our rabbits.

In Open Show C, his white junior doe took Best of Breed under Judge Louis Potter. He’s one of Jacob’s favorite judges because he’s so engaging and always takes the time to explain any comments Jacob doesn’t understand as well as answering any questions he may have.

Thank you to the club for all the effort that went into hosting such a successful event. Next up is the North Florida RCBA show in Green Cove Springs on January 31st and February 1st. See you there!

✨Exciting News!✨

The 2023/2024 National Rex Rabbit Club Sweepstakes results are in, and we are thrilled to share that Jacob has been named the Top Youth Amber Exhibitor in the Nation for the second year in a row!

This honor is especially meaningful because Jacob wasn’t able to attend as many shows as he’d hoped this year. Competing against exhibitors with far more opportunities to show makes this achievement all the more humbling. Along with topping the Amber category, he also placed in the Top 10 for the Otter Variety, ninth for quality points, and ranked #15 overall!

We are beyond proud of his hard work, dedication, and love for his rabbits. These accomplishments are a blessing, and we’re so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community. Thank you to everyone who has supported Jacob along the way. Here’s to another year of growth and opportunity! ❤️🐇

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a holiday season filled with both challenges and blessings. A stomach bug knocked us down right after Christmas, but we are pleased to announce the arrival of 22 beautiful, healthy kits on Christmas Day. They are a joyful reminder of the hope and promise each new year brings.

Thank you for being part of our journey this year. We’re so grateful for your love and support and can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store. Wishing you and your loved ones a New Year filled with health, happiness, and endless blessings!

Jacob had an awesome weekend at the Tis the Season Benefit Rabbit Show hosted by the Florida State Rabbit Breeder's Association in Inverness, FL! 🎄🐇 With so many beautiful rex and tough competition, he had some great wins to celebrate.

In Youth Show A, Jacob’s white junior doe, Sandy Pine's Jaina, took Best of Breed under Judge Terry Fender. In Youth Show B, the same doe shined again with another Best of Breed, and his senior otter buck, Sandy Pine's Cole, earned Best Opposite S*x of Breed under Judge Jim Rowland.

Congrats to all the exhibitors for a fantastic day and to the club for hosting such a successful show. Next stop: the Florida State Convention in Bushnell, FL, on January 10–11.

Jacob had a good day in Fanning Springs today. (You know it was cold if this kid was wearing a hoodie!) He got some helpful comments on several of his rabbits and received Best Opposite S*x of Breed in both youth shows.

Good afternoon! This is our current, limited availability (Please note, we do NOT breed minis). Our next availability will not be for several months as we are still recovering from Hurricane Milton.

We are located in Spring Hill, FL (34610) and are by appointment only. However, we plan to attend the Florida shows on Nov. 23rd and Dec. 7th, with transport available to both shows.

We work with reliable transports in our area, with stops in Brooksville, Spring Hill, and Dade City/San Antonio, FL. If you’re unfamiliar with transport, we’re happy to offer recommendations—just note that all arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility.

We hope everyone is staying safe in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. We wanted to provide an important update regarding our rabbitry. Unfortunately, we sustained significant damage and losses, and we will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Thankfully, we were able to move some of our show rabbits into the house ahead of the storm.

At this time, we do not have a clear estimate on when we will have rabbits available again. As a family, we are carefully evaluating the situation and discussing the future of our rabbitry.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, support, and patience as we navigate this challenging time.

Jacob had a great time at the Hopping into Fall Rabbit Show in Dover, FL, hosted by the Central Florida Rabbit Breeder's Association. His senior black otter buck, Sandy Pine’s Cole, took Best of Breed in Youth Shows A and C, and Best Opposite of Breed in Show B. He also snagged Best Opposite of Breed in Youth Show C with his amber doe, Tuck’s Away. Big congratulations to our friend, Ellie, and her beautiful polish rabbits as well! Well done!

Hats off to all exhibitors and the club for another great event. Now, just hoping Hurricane Milton doesn’t shake things up too much before the next show around Thanksgiving!
