Here’s Scotch (13yr Havanese) and Biscuit (9 mo)! Having a senior and spirited yet undisciplined puppy has been a challenge managing but educated owner how to create more boundaries and work to change the household energy for more calm. Setting new routines, increasing patience and improving communication allowed Biscuit to be successful, tired and satisfied!

Here’s Mochi! A 3 yr old Maltipoo who has become more possessive and resource guarding the owner’s mother to the point where the owner now feels unable to approach them safely. Educating and teaching better boundaries for Mochi to work and learn as well as changing her locations of access is making a noticeable difference. Looking forward to bringing more balance and ease into their family dynamics.

Here’s Allie! A 14 mo old Pit/GSD/Supermutt who tends to get more aroused and resource guards her owners and territory when given more freedom and access. Working with owners to help teach her how to engage and disengage with more support to ease her tendencies to mug and nip. Looking forward to watching her progress increase with more training.

Here’s Alfie! A 10 mo old Dachshund/Aussie mix who has reactivity towards other dogs and new to first time dog owners. Educating and teaching him skills to ease into his new environment, strengthen his connection and keep his mind more occupied throughout the day. Alfie is smart, determined and sassy. I’m looking forward to watching his progress as he matures!

Here’s Maxx! A now 9 mo old Bolognese who is learning agility exercises in his home from weave poles to jumps and extended stays and tunnels! His energy and enthusiasm is infectious and loves to be challenged! Working with him since he was just 9 weeks old has been so rewarding and fun to see him thrive and mature! What a smile!

Here’s Finn, Una and Milo! Working with the family on setting good routines with slow introduction and safety to increase their tolerance and acceptance for one another. This process has been going really well and we’ve no longer needed the pen as a barrier! The family is feeling hopeful and more at ease with a clear plan of progression!

Long term clients who have come a long way in their training of Charlie and developing an amazing relationship with her sister and now working on boarding Charlie to plan for future trips! Rescue dog training was challenging at times but the persistence and patience truly paid off in the end!!

Here’s Jun and Milo! Past clients that I randomly bumped into at Coby’s Cafe on Nickerson in lower Queen Anne/Fremont who have an adjacent dog lounge so many dogs can play and interact while their owners enjoy some coffee and relax! This was such a great place to visit and meet new furry friends!

Here’s Colby (5.5) and Ollie (8)! Assisting family in setting clearer boundaries, rules and limits to allow these two to coexist better with less conflict and disagreements. Owners feeling much better about how to communicate, lead and change their living environment to support and teach each of them to work more to reduce family stress and anxiety! They both did so well and look forward to their continued success!

Here’s Banjo (17 mo) and Otis (4)! Two frenchies who have improved significantly to manage their arousal during greetings, pulling on the leash towards other dogs and critters and strengthening their connection to the owners through effective leadership and communication skills. Watching them both learn, struggle and adapt to their new lessons have made for a calmer home and enjoyable time together!

Here’s Candy! A 4 yr old rescue Doodle mix who is gaining exposure and comfort around the family’s other 9 yr old dog. Candy is more anxious, restless and clingy as I educated the owners how to create boundaries and management to keep everyone safe but have more consistent systems and routines. She does well either new people but is still working through some separation anxiety. I look forward to her snd their progress!

Here’s Goose! A 4 yr old Boxer who is continuing to improve on leashed walks, reducing his arousal when hearing random noises inside the home, learning new skills to mentally challenge and tire him out and spending more time in his crate for alone time when owners are away! His progress is giving the family more confidence and Goose is enjoying his expanded education.

Here’s Crackerjack! A 3 yr old Blue Heeler who is generally friendly but can be hesitant around men, protective and bark when feeling anxious or uncertain. Educated owners on how to better manage, teach and lead him to increase their leadership and increase his work to follow. He did really well and gave them more confidence is strengthening their connection and understanding of his needs!

Here’s Gary! A 9 mo old Mini Australian Labradoodle who is working on reducing his separation anxiety as well as improving his recall. Educated owners on how to improve their communication by setting clearer boundaries and increasing his level of mental work combined with regular exercise. Gary’s needs for attention have increased and teaching him patience really helped him feel much more relaxed and compliant! I look forward to seeing his progress as the family changes their focus to meet his needs!

Here’s Huey! A now 3 yr old Bernese/Golden mix who has moved to a new home and working on reducing his alert barking and improving his recall since he has more distractions and property to manage. Setting consistent boundaries and rewarding him for compliance is key since he is very food driven and motivated to learn! You can do it Huey!!

Here’s Nora! A 7 mo old mix who is new to the family and integrating well with Huey and Pichu the cat! Nora loves her big brother, steals his toys, digs in the yard and jumps on Pichu any chance she gets. Setting good training opportunities to put on her leash, wait at the door, reduce jumping and obtain better leash communication were key areas of improvement. She’s got great energy and of course, loves to cuddle!

Here’s Milo! A 6 yr old GSD/Great Dane mix who is calm, friendly and receptive to training and obedience. However, he reacts to the two house cats and their sudden movements with barking and rushing from time to time. Educated owners how to set Milo up for success to ease this tendency to allow mutual existence without more stress. Look forward to seeing his progress!

Here’s Juniper! A 7 mo old Chihuahua/Pug who is becoming more comfortable with her family and now finding her voice and barking persistently, jumping and solidifying potty training. Establishing alone training and better leash walking management are additional skills in progress as her training continues. She’s very Ty sweet, tiny and full of personality!

Chewy Amputation Recovery

It’s been exactly 30 days post surgery for my dog Chewy and her recovery has been remarkable. She walks nearly her full duration, up hills, over obstacles and has even jogged at times with ease and chased the cats.
