Here’s Atlas! An 8.5 yr old Boxer/Pit mix who has had challenges with people touching his face, knocking or ringing the doorbell, leading to barking/rushing and potential biting. Educated family on strategies to manage his choices, improve protocols and observe his body cues to allow him to feel safe and secure. Other medical conditions have also contributed to his sensitivities. Family more aware of how best to support him and reduce risk.

Here’s Toby! A 2 yr old Shih Tzu who is anxious, has frenzied barking that’s led to bites when under stress. Educated owners how to best support, lead and teach Toby how to feel safe and slow down introductions as well as reading his body language effectively to create positive interactions. Toby did really well when time, space and listening were given to enlist his trust on his terms. He’s a great pup who has the capacity to improve with clear leadership!

Here’s Cosmo! A 21 mo old Treeing Walker Coonhound who has strong leash reactivity to random dogs on walks, separation anxiety issues combined with boredom and emotional challenges with certain dogs in close proximity. Educated owner on strategies to better communicate, lead and allow for managed exposure and direction to keep him under threshold yet still work on connectivity. Impulse control around food another great skill for delayed gratification! Really enjoyed this spirited and unique soul!

Here’s Aarti! A 2 yr old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix who is brilliant, determined, cautious and takes his job protecting the home very seriously. Educated owner on ways to best support, motivate and lead him to find comfort with new people and exercise his talents in ways that challenge his intelligence and problem solving mastery. I enjoyed spending time with him and look forward to hearing about his progress!

Here’s Eddie!! A 10 mo old Labrador who is of age and challenging his family with jumping, nibbling, hu***ng, counter surfing and not listening. Educated entire family about how to best understand and support the many changes occurring in his life while simultaneously meeting his needs and teaching him valuable skills with consistent leadership and motivation. Eddie is so sweet abx friendly and wants to work but easily distracted and persistent. Family feeling more hopeful and inspired 😁

Here’s Ellie! A 12 week old Hound/Dalmation mix who is just embarking on mastering crate, pen and potty training. Her calm and cautious demeanor make for a very sweet and gentle soul. Educated owners of how to reduce separation anxiety, increase her engagement and mental enrichment and advance her learning in preparation for future skills. Ellie was amazing and really improved during our session! See you all next time!

Here’s Bochy! An 8 yr old Maltese mix who reacts to other dogs on leash and also marks within the home. Educated owner on strategies to make him work harder and establish consistent rituals to meet his internal needs and set better boundaries and communication. Improved leadership will allow him to respond to his owner better and reduce his insecurities. Bochy happy with our new plan!

Here’s Sully and Richard! Sully is a nervous 12 year old mix who alert barks every time someone passes the house, enters the foyer or surprises him and his owner. Established new protocols to train him with more support and motivation to cues that trigger this behavior. Owner encouraged to see the results and help him feel more secure and safe.

Here’s Luna! A 4 yr old Husky/Pitbull who now has a new baby in the home and can be more jumpy and lunge towards family members and guests when on her bed. Creating optimal protocols to lower her stress and give owners effective strategies to manage her arousal will be key to lowering anxiety. Luna means well but does take her job seriously and now family has a great plan moving forward! Separation during meals also great to keep forming good habits!

Here’s Hashbrown! A n almost 4 yr old Black Mouth Cur who has nervous aggression when meeting new people and around other dogs. Educated owner and family how to best support, communicate and lead her to allow for consistent leadership and management. Hashbrown was very receptive to these cues and warmly greeted me over time. They are not more equipped with more awareness of what she needs and skills to keep her and others safe!

Here’s Ollie (6) and Oakley (4)! Ollie is a Maltipoo and has been marking inside the house while Oakley rushes the door and alert barks when activity is occurring past his front door. Educated owners on how to best manage these behaviors but also demonstrate consistent leadership to reduce stress and emotional reactions. Both of these dogs were significantly relaxed by session end giving family more insight of how to support them!

Here’s Holly! A 10 mo old Cavalier King Charles who is learning how to walk on leash, greet visitors, impulse control and jumping and neediness. Holly learned many new skills as the owners now have a clear template to continue her education to manage her excitement and teenage behaviors.
