Love this guy! His big brother put him in his place at the end. They still are trying to figure out where each stands in the pack haha. So funny, but they do love each other!

Barney had a great Christmas! Him and Daddy had great bonding time and I can proudly report that I have earned his trust. Mommy got back last evening and he remembered her and was so excited to see her. We are making progress, but the poor guy just will not relax by himself. We need some serious help in this area. He has an evaluation with his trainer tomorrow night and he's excited for it!!! He was a good boy on his walk on Christmas as well (although I didn't know I was being recorded so ignore my commentary).
Someone is tired!!! Well it's been a rough week. Barney just absolutely will not accept being in a crate. He has become very destructive when we tried to crate train him. He gave himself a little scab on his nose trying to get out and ripped up his bed and a heavy duty moving blanket. I think that ship has sailed. We also were told that his stool was soft due to the amount of food he was eating. Well his stool never solidified and in fact got worse after we reduced his food amount to a normal level. So I took him to the vet to have it checked and yep he has three different kinds of worms. No idea how he got that and so far my other dogs do not have anything. So he is on medication for all that (poor guy) but it seems like he is doing better. He definitely does not like to be by himself right now and that is troubling for my wife and I (we have yet to leave him alone even to go out to dinner or anything). We were supposed to go to Nashville and take all the dogs to the in laws for Christmas. With all that is going on I believe that would be too stressful for Barney to drive down with us, so my wife flew down tonight and I'm staying home with the boys for Christmas by myself. I have realized that he needs some professional training and we will be investing it that after the holidays. He definitely is a big work in progress, but the poor guy has been through so much and now continues to go through even more. It is going to feel so rewarding once we get through all of this!
Not sure what has gotten into him. But that ball must really scare him???

I think Barney knew Daddy was sad he wouldn't play with him like he does Mommy. Well happy to report that the little man played with me this morning! Not like this video with Mommy, but similar!!!
