If you've called in the past couple days, you may have noticed something different. All phone calls are now being routed through a 24/7 answering service. That means no matter when you call, you will get a live person. This will allow us to better assist both the client and patient we're with, as well as better triage calls coming in.

Emergencies will be treated as such!
Please be patient with the operator as they are asking questions, so that we may have as much information as possible before calling you back.

Change can be scary and frustrating, and there will be kinks, but progress is necessary! Thank you for your patience!

Friendly reminder to keep flipping those lips up to monitor for foxtail!

I know there have been lots of posts floating around about the issues foxtail can cause, and here's one more. In this case, the "mushy" is hiding a large pocket underneath. This pocket travels up between the 2 central incisors, displacing the teeth, especially the one on the right in the picture. This can happen over a very short time frame.

Even sedated, this is a very painful condition to clean out completely. If you notice anything like this, please reach out to your vet for assistance and treatment.
