A MAN WAS DATING 3 LADIES AND WANTED TO DECIDE TO MARRY. HE THEN GAVE THEM A TEST

He gave each 100k and observed what each did with the money.

The first one did a total make-over which included a fancy hair style, make up and several new outfits. She then dressed up for the man and said, "I have done this to make myself more attractive to you because I love you so much." The man was impressed.

The second woman went gift shopping for the man. As she presented these gifts to him she said, "I've spent all the money on you because I love you so much." The man was again impressed.

The third one invested the money in the stock market. She earned 400k and gave him back his 100k.

She then deposited the remainder in a joint account. She told him that she wanted to secure their future because she loved him so much.

Obviously, the man was very impressed.
The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money.

In the end, he married the one with the biggest buttocks.

During a robbery in Zimbabwe, the bank robber shouted to everyone in the bank: "Don't move. The money belongs to the State. Your life belongs to you."

Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called "Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking.
When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: "Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a r**e!"
This is called "Being Professional” Focus only on what you are trained to do!

When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA-trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): "Big brother, let's count how much we got."

The older robber rebutted and said: "You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!"
This is called "Experience.” Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications!

After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said to him: "Wait! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bank”.

This is called "Swim with the tide.” Converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage!
The supervisor says: "It will be good if there is a robbery every month."

This is called "Killing Boredom.” Personal Happiness is more important than your job.

The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: "We risked our lives and only took $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!"
This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as gold!"
The bank manager and the supervisor were all smiling and happy afterall !!

SEVEN (7) RULES OF LIFE

1. Make peace with your past so that it does not affect the present.
2. What others think of you is none of your business.
3. You control nothing in life other than your attitude.
4. Don't compare your life to others and don't judge them. You have no idea of what their journey is all about.
5. It's alright not to know all the answers; the smartest people are the ones who acknowledge they don’t know it all.
6. You are in charge of your happiness.
7. You don't own all the problems in
the world so make peace at home or at your level first.

A baboon named Jack officially worked for South African railways (1881-1890) as a signalman and was paid twenty cents a day and half a beer weekly. Jack never made a single mistake in his entire Railway career. Jack was a chacma baboon who assisted a paraplegic railway signalman named James Wide, also known as "Jumper" Wide, after losing his legs in a railway accident. James Wide trained Jack to help him with his daily tasks. Over time, Jack learned to operate railway signals under supervision, requiring careful attention and precision.
Jack the Baboon became famous for his reliability and accuracy in railway signal operation. He never made a mistake in the nine years he worked for the railway. Jack passed away in 1890, and his skull is preserved at the Albany Museum in Grahamstown, South Africa, as a reminder of his unique contributions to the railway industry.

President Ruto's first batch of cabinet Secretaries comprises of his colleagues from the University of Nairobi!
Meaning that government is formed basically from University colleagues and comrades; Nuer people call it as a small group of people who come and eat together on behalf of the common citizens 🙄.
NB: Never underrate your colleagues for you don't know what the future holds for them.

Two old men are sitting in a bar.
One of them looks at the other & says
“You look familiar… where you from?”
The second old man replies “Ireland”
The first old man looks astonished & says
” No way I’m from Ireland myself, what a small world!”
The second old man then looks at the first “What city?”
The first old man says “Dublin?”
The second old man looks astonished
“No way I’m from Dublin meself! What a small world.”
The first man looks at the second old man “What school you go to?”
The second old man replies
“Saint Mary’s class of 89”
The first old man is absolutely baffled
” NO WAY Saint Mary’s class of 89 myself! What a small world!”
At this point, another man comes into the bar & says to the bartender
“Hey, Joe! Anything interesting going on?”
The bartender says
“Not really… but the Murphy twins are drunk again.”

LESSON FOR TODAY

A lady worked at a meat distribution factory.
One day, when she finished with her work
schedule, she went into the meat cold room
(Freezer) to inspect something, but in a
moment of misfortune, the door closed and
she was locked inside with no help in sight.
Although she screamed and knocked with
all her might, her cries went unheard as no
one could hear her. Most of the workers had
already gone, and outside the cold room it's
impossible to hear what was going on
inside.
Five hours later, whilst she was at the verge
of death, the security guard of the factory
eventually opened the door.
She was miraculously saved from dying that
day.
When she later asked the security guard
how he had come to open the door, which
wasn't his usual work routine.
His explanation: "I've been working in this
factory for 35 years, hundreds of workers
come in and out every day, but you're one of
the few who greet me in the morning and
say goodbye to me every night when leaving
after work. Many treat me as if I'm invisible.
Today, as you reported for work, like all
other days, you greeted me in your simple
manner 'Hello'. But this evening after
working hours, I curiously observed that I
had not heard your "Bye, see you
tomorrow".
Hence, I decided to check around the
factory. I look forward to your 'hi' and 'bye'
every day because they remind me that I am
someone.
By not hearing your farewell today, I knew
something had happened. That's why I was
searching every where for you."
Be humble, love and respect those around
you. Try to have an impact on people who
cross your path every day, you never know
what tomorrow will bring.

Happy 13th Anniversary of South Sudan’s Independence:

“A Beacon of Hope”

In the land where rivers flow,
And sun-kissed savannas stretch wide,
A nation emerged from strife and woe,
With dreams of peace and unity as its guide.

Thirteen years have passed since that day,
When flags unfurled in the African sun,
South Sudan stood tall, ready to sway,
A beacon of hope for a new dawn begun.

Yet shadows lingered, memories of pain,
Decades of war etched into the soil,
But hearts resilient, they dared to regain,
Their right to thrive, their spirit uncoil.

Through trials and tears, they pressed ahead,
Seeking lasting peace, justice’s embrace,
Desiring life anew, where hope would spread,
Guided by faith, they found their place.

Voices prophesied across the land,
“All South Sudanese, truly one,” they cried,
Harmony beckoned, hand in hand,
Sisters, brothers, side by side.

From ashes risen, they endure,
Tall and proud, solidarity’s flame,
Enlightened by wisdom, steadfast and sure,
South Sudan’s spirit, forever aflame.

So let us celebrate this moment profound,
Thirteen years of resilience and grace,
A nation’s journey, hope unbound,
In the heart of Africa’s vast embrace.

May peace prevail, justice thrive,
Freedom dance upon the windswept plain,
And prosperity bloom, as dreams come alive,
Happy Independence Day, South Sudan, again! 🇸🇸🌟.

Let us continue to pray for a future filled with hope and reconciliation for South Sudan! 🙏

The evil of the world cannot be vanquished with the weapons of the world. If you want peace, you cannot obtain it with war. If you want justice, you cannot achieve it by unjust and corrupt methods. If you want reconciliation, you cannot harbour revenge. If you want to serve your brothers and sisters, you cannot treat them as slaves. If we want to build a future of peace, then, there is only one road to take: to love one another and to live as brothers and sisters.

GOSSIPING

In Ancient Greece, Socrates had a great reputation for wisdom. One day, someone came to find the great philosopher and said to him:

"Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"

"A moment," replied Socrates. "Before you tell me, I would like to test it with the three sieves."

"The three sieves?"

"Yes," continued Socrates. "Before you speak about others, it's important to take the time to filter what you mean. I call it the test of the three sieves. The first sieve is TRUTH. Have you checked if what you're going to tell me is true?"

"No, I just heard it."

"Very well! So, you don't know if it's true. Let's move on to the second sieve, that of KINDNESS. Is what you want to tell me about my friend something good?"

"Oh, no! On the contrary."

"So," questioned Socrates, "you want to tell me something negative about him, and you're not even sure it's true? Perhaps you can still pass the test of the third sieve, that of UTILITY. Is it useful for me to know what you're going to tell me about this friend?"

"No, not really."

"Therefore," concluded Socrates, "what you were going to tell me is neither true, nor good, nor useful. Why, then, did you want to tell me this?"

"Gossip is a bad thing. Initially, it may seem enjoyable and fun, but ultimately, it fills our hearts with bitterness and poisons us."
