Once upon a time there was a little house at the corner of Blue Heron Drive and Hwy 105 in Montgomery, TX. In 2008 it became known as the ASVT Halfway House.

The Halfway House became "halfway" home for many puppies and kittens. This was their safe place until they could go to a foster home.

Adoption Events were held at the Halfway House every Saturday and Sunday!

Kathy Joslyn, Juliene Pickens and many other Volunteers took care of these precious babies. And, where there are puppies and kittens there is need for lots of cleaning and sterilizing. Juliene would be there at 6am to start the cleaning!

Today the Halfway House is no longer there but will always be remembered!
