LM ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 8/24/24 ***** Intact female ~4 months old 25 pounds Vaccines given 8/21/24 No microchip ALT ID # 08-20-24 19 Pet has an umbilical hernia that should be repaired at the same time pet is being altered. Pet also appears to have an unusual gait, does not appear to affect pet negatively at this time. May need veterinary care if adopted *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull on 8/27/24; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. Banjo was adopted and brought back for nipping 🙄. He is good with other dogs, cats and children. It is not his fault bc the adopters don’t do their homework on this breed. His nipping is correctable.

‼️He has a strict deadline of euthanization at 4pm on Wednesday 8/21. ‼️

Please let’s not let him die bc of unknowledgeable people🙏🙏🙏🙏

Banjo was adopted last month and now his family wants to return him but there is NO room at the shelter! The shelter was very transparent that Banjo will be euthanized immediately when returned but the family chose to return him anyway. 💔 Now Banjo has only a few days left to find a new family committed to saving his life!! 🙏😭

The family that adopted him says they are having issues with nipping when they attempt to kennel him. Banjo will go in his kennel on command but will nip at their hands when closing the kennel door. He is a herding breed with a natural instinct to nip who likely just needs training! He has been great with the cats, dogs, AND kids in the home!!

💥⏰💥Banjo is facing a FIRM deadline of 4pm 8/21!! 😰PLEASE help Banjo find a new family before it’s too late!

ADOPTERS/FOSTERS: 💥💥📣Sadly with the nipping behavior Banjo is no longer an adoption candidate and CANNOT be adopted from th shelter!! Yes this irritates me when people do this. They are not just for the better it’s also for the worst times. It kinda tells me how they would be with their own parents when they need them in their older age. So sad 😞
