Bruno is a hunky middle-aged gent looking for his own forever love. He found himself alone and unwanted in a rural pound in a very sorry state with time running out. One glance at his defeated face and the LVCR team knew they couldn't leave him behind.
Bruno may look big and burly but is really a genuine softie. He absolutely lives for chin and cheek scratches and even enjoys a full body brush, including his belly! Bruno will approach and gently rest his forehead against your leg when he needs some loving, which is often. He really is a chilled-out guy that loves his food, relaxed when being picked up and will tolerate a whole spa session (baby wipe bath, ear clean, eye clean and nail trim). Bruno has no interest in toys but loves his cat scratcher and is definitely not a midnight zoomer or curtain climber, making him very suitable for apartment living. He is quite the talker and is always excited to see his people arrive home. Bruno is tolerant of dogs (but really has no use for them in his life) and has not met a person yet he can't convince to give him a chin/cheek scratch for a rewarding lick or two.
Bruno has had multiple surgeries while getting ready for adoption and has been the perfect patient for his foster family and the veterinary staff, he has never complained but accepts that all is being done to make his life better.
Bruno is FIV positive and therefore looking for a home as an INDOOR ONLY kitty that does not have to share his life with other cats.

⚖️ COURTHOUSE KITTY UPDATE... ⚖️

Our little ginger family have been going so well settling in to their foster home after such a big change in their lives - living wild, not knowing where food is going to be available, danger around every corner.. they are slowly learning to relax, that they are safe and have all their needs met from now on.

Their lovely foster carer has named them all now: Meet Mumma Mittens, Eowyn, Arwen and Aragorn! This little family will be getting their vetwork (desexing, microchipping etc) performed soon and will be looking for their own Happily Every After family. Your very generous donations have helped supply food, litter, and veterinary needs to help us help them get a much needed glow up! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

COURTHOUSE KITTY UPDATE...

WE GOT THEM!
The last 2 of the litter are now safe and sound. 2 little ginger girls, were kind enough to enter the trap together so we were very lucky, as if only 1 was caught, it would have been a much more stressful affair.

Your very generous donations will help us get all their required needs met, and their vetwork completed so they can be adopted out into loving homes. They are all now reunited, and in foster care learning how to live with a never-ending supply of food and love.

COURTHOUSE KITTY UPDATE...

This lovely lil ginger boy was waiting in the trap this morning, and has been reunited with his mum. They are enjoying a safe space to eat, relax and sleep for the first time in a long time. Both Mumma Mittens and this boy will be up for adoption once they clear their health checks and get their vet work completed. Now to hopefully catch his siblings!

We wanted to send our sincerest thanks to everyone who has donated so far - without you we couldn't have saved these guys. We're close to $1500 and would love to hit our target of 2k ! Hey lovely people, I'm Poppy! I was found by some kind strangers while I was wandering all alone. Luckily they dropped me into a nearby vet clinic. I am a bit of a charmer, so the beautiful nurses looked after me while they searched for my owners! I was not microchipped or desexed, and no one came forward for me. But that's ok... my new friends reached out to SCA and now they are helping me to find my true fur-ever home.

A bit about me – I am a confident young girl who lives for the affection of my humans. I absolutely adore people and I love being petted or carried around – as long as I'm the centre of attention everything is right in my world!

I've really thrived in foster care as a solo kitty and would love to be your one and only fur baby. If you do have other animals, your love and patience is essential while I settle into my new home. Living out there as a stray means I am initially hesitant meeting other kitties, so I will rely on slow and proper introductions with your existing pets.

Since being in care I have not met any young children, so I may be better suited to a home with older humans only.

As for all the rest, I'm litter trained and I absolutely love my food. I have been desexed, microchipped, had my first vaccination, and have been given the tick of approval by the vet.

I am such a cuddly girl, and all I long for is a home where I can bask in all the love and attention that I deserve. Could I be the centre of your universe?!

We are looking for a foster or forever home for darling Molly. Adopted as a kitten, she has recently come back into care as her owners can no longer care for her. She has been living in a single cat home and the move back into multi cat care has been too traumatising for her, so she desperately would love a quiet single pet home where she can let her true loving personality come out.
