Hello everyone!
As the year draws to a close, I have an important announcement to make..

Sadly, in February 2024, Geelong and Surfcoast Pet Nanny will be ‘closing its doors’… 😢

I have had the absolutely pleasure of pet sitting for over 10 years now, and I have loved looking after everyone’s pets SO much! I am very sad to say goodbye to this massive chapter in my life, and I will really miss the animals I have cared for over the years and currently care for now. From dog walking, to visits and staying overnight, as well as welcoming pets into my own home, it’s been such an honour and I am so grateful to everyone who has supported my small business and allowed me to take care of their pets.

I would also like to say a big thank you to my team of pet sitters, without you, there’s no way I could have serviced so many animals!!

Whilst I am very sad to say goodbye to such a massive chapter in my life, I know that I now need to focus souly on my dog training business Ocean Edge Dog Training if I would like it to succeed!

All current pet sitting bookings will of course be honoured, however we will no longer be taking any additional bookings.

If one of my team members has had the privilege of looking after your pets, you are welcome to get in touch with them directly and book further pet sitting dates if you wish, however from the end of February, you will no longer be able to reach them through this page.

But for now, please enjoy some pictures of the very special animal friends I have made over the years, some who I still see regularly! And others who have left paw prints on my heart forever ❤️🐾 (and many more who aren’t pictured) ❤️❤️

One of our favourite pet stores has opened up in Torquay!

The Pet Food Shop is THE place to go for all things fresh and holistic.

When I first got my black Labrador Vonnie, she was suffering from severe allergies, which resulted in her being on various medications, including steroids from a young age. After being on a fresh and raw diet, with all the meat purchased through The Pet Food Shop, for 18 months, she no longer needs medication and her skin and ear infections are almost non existent!

The staff here are so knowlegable and truely care for every pet that walks through the door. Highly worth the visit if you’re needing anything for your dogs or cats and live on the surfcoast ❤️🐾 They are conveniently located on Beach Road, just off the surfcoast highway.

This weekend Lauren looked after three beautiful doggos and a very happy Bun!
Saffron (lab x), enjoyed her play at the beach, Jasper (beagle x) and Toby (pointer), enjoyed Lauren’s company at their house while mum and dad were away, and Rommy had fun with cardboard boxes with treats hidden inside to keep him entertained! Earlier in the month, Lauren also spent time with Willow (border collie), Skye (husky x), Otto (short hair border collie) and Franklin (cavoodle)!

We have limited availability left to service the Torquay area over the Easter school break.. if you need someone to look after your pets, get in quick before places fill up!!

Have you recently welcomed a new puppy?? BBs has a new puppy class starting next Sunday! Pups between 8 and 16 weeks are welcome!

Hi friends! Have you got a new puppy that needs some training? We've got a Puppy School Course starting this coming Sunday, Feb 26th at 10am! 🥳

This course is aimed at pups between 8wks-16wks and is all about learning the importance of controlled socialisation along with how to teach important life skills that will set your dog up for a happy & healthy life! 💯

This is a 5wk course and each week different topics will be covered. 👌

Our sitters had a few animals to take care of last weekend, and Lauren even had the pleasure of taking Gorgeous Ralph to see his owners get married! -check out his handsome face and pink bow tie!!

Aaand here we go again, lockdown 5.0!!
On a more positive note, Lauren has been looking after the gorgeous Shadow (German Shepherd), Evie (Airdale) and Luna (Chocolate Cavoodle).

Shadow enjoyed a visit and a really tasty treat

Evie embraced a cold - but beautiful- winter morning with a group walk along the Barwon river.

And little Luna and Jade got to run a muck at the beach!! A sandy dog is a happy dog after all!

Stay safe and healthy everyone! Fingers crossed we are out of this lockdown and back to “normal” soon!
