Sweet Thor wonders if maybe he looked like the pup on the screen, he would have a home by now. If he was younger, smaller, a different breed, had less trauma, less conditions, or uncropped ears…he’d have found his forever home.
Thor has been with us for over two years and has bounced from foster to foster to boarding back to a foster. He does best as a solo dog, but don’t let that fool you. He has been in many homes with other animals and doesn’t bark, he just needs his own space. If you have a spare bedroom for him, he will thrive. He doesn’t react to seeing other animals, he just likes his own personal space from them and this is best mitigated by separating. He is calm and collected even if he hears other dogs barking through a door or sees them through a gate.
Thor moves at .0003 miles per hour, but he will still swiftly steal your heart. He is around 5 years old and was rescued from an abandoned house where he lived for almost a whole month. He is house trained and up to date on all vetting, all he is missing is a permanent home or a regular foster.
Thor is currently in a foster home with two dogs and 3 cats, he is just separated in his own little Airbnb room and is thriving. Unfortunately he can’t stay there past Tuesday, so he will need a new spot by then. Thor is very adaptable and we will help any new foster transition him into their home and provide supplies.
