MO4PAWS rescued Kristoff and Olaf on there last day at South LA Animal Shelter. We are so happy to announce that they got adopted and are living their best life in their forever home with some new siblings.
These 2 yr old fellas were surrendered to the shelter they were first adopted from as puppies. Unfortunately, they got out from their home one day and were running loose. Once caught, a good Samaritan took the dogs to their house in hopes of being able to locate their owner. They eventually took them to the shelter to check for a microchip, which they had. The owners were notified and said they would come redeem them. When the owner’s family member was redeeming them, a member of the public happened to come in and allege that two white huskies attacked their dog and that they wanted money from the owner to pay the vet bills. Worried, the owner surrendered them to the shelter right then.
The shelter immediately RED ALERTED them for harming an animal. No proof was ever provided to substantiate the attack or its severity.

MO4PAWS got a call from a family in Los Angeles near Downey that a dog had been abandoned in their neighborhood. The dog had no chip and after trying to find the owner or see if anyone would come forward, MO4PAWS stepped in to ensure it would find a forever home and the love that it deserved.
We are so grateful for the family that found the dog on the street and treated her like their own until we could find her forever home. The family ended up naming her Sasha, and we are happy to announce that she now has found her forever home near Malibu with an amazing couple.

#justiceforenzo . This is a horrific incident that took place and ended up in the death of a sweet and harmless dog. The videos are evidence of this. No animal deserves to be treated like this! How did that “less lethal” option work out that the Lodi police department claims? If this dog had been “dangerous”, which from the videos and family witnessing this moment said he wasn’t, wouldn’t the dog have gone after the officer? There are other ways to handle this type of situation. The officer was a foot away from that dog when he deployed the taser. And that dragging…….that’s just reprehensible! . Not only were your police officers and animal control employee wrong, they blatantly killed an animal in front of a family and their children. Termination should be the only way to handle this situation. Such a disgrace….where is the compassion and respect towards living beings? .
