respect for life from farm to table Icebox Farm is a quickly growing homestead focused on creating a sustainable community.

We raise truly pastured chickens for both eggs and meat. We also grow produce in our raised bed gardens and greenhouse. We teach how-to classes promoting all forms of food preservation, with a focus on canning. Twice a week we hold a small group class called Icebox Forum, where we discuss the spiritual significance of food in Biblical texts and its application to our daily lives. We also encourage

building relationships with local farmers & create opportunities for those relationships to be created.

On days when menopause brings exhaustion, anxiety, and achy joints, I reach for my favourite blend of locally foraged foliage and flowers to soothe, calm, and centre. This blend includes mint, sage, mugwort, meadowsweet, red clover, and silverweed.
