🎇 Do not bring your dog to firework celebrations. (No, they really don’t like it. If it hurts our ears, imagine how sensitive they are.)
🎇 Leave your dog at home.
🎇 Microchip your pet.
🎇 Ensure your pet’s collar has your phone number written on it in sharpie or a secure name tag.
🎇 Check fences.
🎇 Accompany your pet outside on a leash or lead, even if you have a fence. Best to not take chances.
🎇 Turn music on for your pet.
🎇 Have a newly adopted or scared foster? Double leash and harness outside at all times. Watch garage and front doors. Use a car seatbelt lock for transport.
