When we say that all of our products are born of necessity, we mean it.
Two days ago, one of our models, Toktu was diagnosed with a partial cruciate ligament tear at Neighborhood Veterinary Centers - Nederland . He is a very active sable shepherd who loves to run and hike. To prevent further joint damage, he underwent surgery to stabilize his right hind knee joint with the wonderful Dr. Brady Hanson.
We picked him up yesterday and here is on his way home on his memory foam orthopedic bed, which is perfect for recovery from surgical procedures. You can see that he was still a bit loopy and groggy from the anesthesia and drooled some on his bed, which wasn't a big deal since it is also waterproof thanks to Polartec® NeoShell® from Polartec .
