In Betty’s Honour
Betty Jones was a Boston Terrier who suffered many physical disabilities from birth, at the age of two and a half Betty lost her battle with an acute onset of severe inflammatory brain disease. Throughout her small life, Betty provided us with love and affection and despite her incapabilities was such a strong little pup. She loved her little brother Percy (our Russian dwarf hamster) and would sit and watch him on a daily basis for hours on end.
In honour of Betty we have now decided to turn Betty’s Better Life into a small animal rescue centre to help save and improve the lives of small animals that can no longer be cared for by their owners. We hope to give them happy, fulfilled lives as we did for Betty.
We are forever grateful for the support we received when we started Betty’s Better Life to raise money for Betty’s surgery despite not having the chance to see it through. Hopefully with further support we can turn around the lives of many more unfortunate animals to help make the world a better place.
