Howdy! In case you are new here, my name is Sophia and I am a new barefoot trimmer in the N. GA area. I am so excited to share my work, learning opportunities, and adventures on this page. I'd like to use this post to introduce myself and share my story.

The horse pictured in these photos is my personal mare "Cheyenne." This entire journey started because of her, and oh what a whirlwind it has been.
I bought Cheyenne back in 2019 while in highschool. I had grown up around horses since I was probably 5, but didn't know a whole lot about hoof-care. Fast forward a few years later, I had a gal trying to convince me to trim Cheyenne's hooves myself. I was a young teenager at the time and I did not feel I was capable of conquering such a huge task. One day I decided to be brave and send some hoof pics to a mentor for mark-ups. I soon realized that it wasn't so scary, and I actually really really enjoyed it! I started getting my hands on all different types of reading material and talked with fellow trimmers in the area. I eventually decided I wanted to pursue certification. I attended a beginning PHCP clinic in November of 2022 and everything took off from there. Since then, I have shadowed many of the phenomenal trimmers in my area and been so fortunate to work on some client horses. Everyone has been so accommodating and willing to share their knowledge with me. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by such a talented and compassionate group of trimmers. Right now, I am working towards completing my Certification through Ida Hammer .
I should be fully certified this May🎉
It took me quite some time to decide on a name for my business. I wanted something sentimental and something that would honor my mare since she's the reason for it all. Cheyenne has changed my life in numerous ways. I have always said she's my "earth angel" hence the name "Heaven Sent."
Thank you for checking out my page! I am so excited to forever be a student of the horse. 🐎❤️
Now welcoming new clients in the North Georgia Area!!
