n my volunteer work with Lilo’s Promise Animal Rescue in 2012 and was able to utilize my love of running to help not only exercise, but socialize the dogs in the program. My passion for exercise finally had a larger purpose. Unfortunately, an unforseen injury to my back in late July of 2012, resulted in emergency surgery and had me bed ridden for months. Throughout my ordeal my motivation and inspiration to get back on my feet were the Lilo's pups. I have decided to run in the Broad Street 10 mile run on May 5th to raise money for the Lilo’s pups that mean so much to me. Every dollar raised will help provide funds to care for all the dogs that come into the program. From much needed medical care to food and shelter. Please help me by sharing with friend and family.
