Don't be scared to walk your arthritic dog! Walking is important to help maintain joint mobility and flexibility. Gentle exercise can help alleviate stiffness and discomfort, prevent muscle atrophy, and maintain a healthy weight. It's crucial to be mindful of your dog's limitations and choose appropriate surfaces and durations for the walks. Always consult your veterinarian to create a tailored exercise plan for your arthritic dog.

"Bodie was our baby boy. We received the greatest gift of all time when we were able to adopt him. He taught us patience and showed incredible resilience through training, provided unconditional love, endless joy, the best cuddles, and so many laughs from his zoomies. He was so full of personality and we were honored to get to love him for the second half of his life. He will forever be our sweet boy!" ~ Mary H.

"Ra was the sweetest girl. She loved being held and would jump up on my back and shoulders and make herself at home while I worked. She was a talker and loved playing fetch and getting into things she wasn't supposed to. I miss her so terribly but smile when I remember her bringing back a fetch item (one of her favorite activities) and waiting expectantly for me to throw it again."

Cats are known for being masters at hiding pain as a survival mechanism. This stoic instinct originated in the wild where cats were vulnerable to predators if they were injured or sick. Contact your veterinarian for any signs of unusual behavior and keep them up-to-date with their wellness exams.
