Boomer Bombastic - Adopted My name is Boomer! I am blind male Bull Terrier that found my furever home through Blue Ridge Bull Terrier Rescue. Hello, everyone! My name is Boomer.

Blue Ridge rescues and rehomes Bull Terriers in the The USA - focused mainly in New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. I am a male bull terrier who did not have the best start to life. I was a victim of animal cruelty. I spent my first years tied outside with little human interaction. I came into the shelter very underweight, covered in sores, mostly blind, shut down, and very scared of people.

With the help of the loving shelter staff, I started to gain weight and began to relax. I moved in with an amazing foster family who helped me blossom even further. They were loving and patient. They helped me get over my fear of people coming into our home, helped me get healthy again, and helped me get to know my bull terrier sister. I love walks, car rides, playing with stuffed animals, and playing tug of war! After over a year of rehabilitation between the shelter and my foster home, I was finally ready to go to my furever home. And guess what! As it turns out, I had already been in my furever home for almost a year. My foster parents loved me so much that they “foster failed” - this is the most wonderful kind of fail! I am SO happy to be home. It feels amazing to be fed, comfy, and loved. Please give my page a like to follow my adventures!
