Gone but forever in our hearts.
Benji is described as an affectionate, playful, friendly and very active dog who enjoys lounging around the bedroom and living room with his family. But just that quick, his whole world has been flipped upside down, he's in a strange and scary place and they have decided that after just four short days he's out of time. Benji is really on death row now and they say for behavior concerns. Join the club, Benji. That's why all of the dogs are scheduled for death. Because they aren't behaving like rockstars in an unfamiliar place where fear and death are always in the air. The dogs feel and smell that bad energy and they want out. They want to be in a safe, loving and happy home. THAT'S the club Benji wants to be in!! He was just at the shelter a few months ago. His name was Timmy then, and it seems like he may not have been a good fit in the adoptive home he went to then. Benji has some great qualities - smart, kid friendly and housetrained but at the same time we want to keep in mind that he can be fearful of sudden movements so his adopter or foster needs to be kind, loving and patient to ensure Benji is successful and home for good.
