Freckles has been at the Tishomingo Animal Shelter for a year, since he was a young pup.

Skid has been with Friends of Tishomingo Oklahoma Animal Shelter since July 2023; he needs a loving home! He deserves to live life outside of a shelter!!
Skid is a male, possibly Dutch Shepherd/Plott Hound mix and just turned a year old. He came into the shelter of July 2023 as a puppy and deserves more than life in a shelter. Skid does well with other dogs; he was perfect on his walk downtown with 8 other shelter dogs. He loves people as well and walks well on a leash. Can be a tad shy at first, but warms up quickly. He loves to take toys into his dog house in his kennel and play with them. Skid is around 50-55 pounds.

🌟 Bella 🌟
Bella is a female, possibly English Shepherd, mix and is 1 to 1 1/2 years old and is 46 pounds. She is absolutely adorable with a long tongue! When I took her into the yard for pictures; she fell in love with this squeaky toy fire hydrant and got all of the grass clippings all over her crazy tongue! This sweet girl loves adults, children, and other dogs, walks well on a leash, and is well-mannered and calm. Bella is a joy to be around! She loves sprays from the waterhose and tries to "eat" the water! She has been with us for 9 months (September 2024).

Jazzmine is on her way to Fort Worth to hitch a ride to Colorado to rescue! She, her siblings, and her mother were rescued from a neglect situation a few months ago. Only due to your support, we along with Friends of Tishomingo Oklahoma Animal Shelter were able to get her spayed, vaccinated, transported to rescue, and all costs in between of taking care of our dogs. Pistol is around 1 year old and a possible Pittie/Husky mix. He is an energetic, fun-loving boy who would love a nice yard to run in and a family to love on. He climbed our 4-foot fenced in picture area, so he will need a 6-foot fenced in yard or be on a leash at all times. He has been abused in the past, but does not seem to affect his interactions with people and was very friendly with the volunteer who took pictures/video! Pistol has been to two public events, one with mainly children, and he LOVES kids. He is very mellow. Pistol’s adoption fee is $60 and he is neutered and vaccinated.
