Saturday Linc went Best of Breed twice and won a Group 3 under honorable judge Matthew Proctor for his first competition win!

Sunday Linc won Best of Breed over some very lovely Aussie competition giving him his second major win towards his UKC CH! Just 20 points more and 1 last comp win! Thank you judge Katherine Short for finding him 💖

Hims still a baby but the coat is starting to grow!

The babies at HAMPTON ROADS KENNEL CLUB for novice puppy!

Andrew and his baby Jet had their first ever dog show experience and did fantastic for jumping in head first! Jamaria and her baby Gabriel took 3/6 Best Puppy in Shows under some wonderful judges! Safari took one Reserve Best Puppy in Show Saturday under a judge I highly respect and admire.

Make sure your pets are up to date on their vaccines!

Good morning H@H family!

As you may have seen, we made a detailed post back on October 30th (it’s pinned on our page) about the rise in Rabies cases within the past few months. Unfortunately, there continue to be new cases almost weekly adding at least 4 to the growing total.

As of November 16th, Harford County has had 20+, Baltimore County has had 15+, and Cecil County has had 4+ confirmed cases. Within the entire state of Maryland, there have been 203+ confirmed cases*. The majority of the cases are raccoons 🦝 which are high in population in our area.

Again, PLEASE make sure your pets are up-to-date on their vaccines. If you or your pet have come into contact with a wild animal, please contact your county’s health department as soon as possible. You can check out our previous post for contact details and other important information. You can reference this chart for more information - we hope it is updated frequently to reflect accurate numbers. A little pupdate on the For the Birds litter!

Jet (formerly Hawk) and his dad are training together to be a future show dog! We plan on leaving his ears natural and taping. He’s super lucky to be an only child (for now) and gets to spend all day with his pops!

Gabriel (formerly Rooster) and his mom are also working together to learn how to show. Mom has experience so she’s teaching Gabriel the ropes. He loves his parents and his dog big brother! We’re so grateful she took a chance on little Maui Jr.

Zoey (formerly Raven) has a wonderful loving family, with two sweet boys and a dog sister to help manage puppyhood. She’s spoiled rotten and so loved!

Last but certainly not least, Bailey (formerly Phoenix) found her home with sister Riley (formerly Mrs. Puff from the Bikini Bottom litter) and will be learning the ropes from her big cousin. We’re thrilled that Riley has a new playmate and the best home.

With the craziness of this week, we forgot to share that one of our favorite junior handlers (and my goddaughter) Cheyenne of Glitterati Australian Shepherds showed our Safari in non-licensed puppy. Chey got Safari from ‘I hate this leash!!’ to not one, but TWO Best Puppy in Show under honorable judges Monique Laperrier and Carianna Glenn. So incredibly grateful to Cheyenne and the two wonderful judges for recognizing baby Safari.

Now that we’ve made our final decision, that opens the door for Phoenix to find her new home. She’s a smaller girl, but is very loving and pretty laid back as she’d much prefer snuggling. She’d make a fantastic dog for the right pet home.
