Brandi Burns - Brandi is our idea person and our seamstress superior.

You'll find us around most Southeastern Cons, but we venture out for the occasional Anime Expo, Anime Matsuri or Comic Con from time to time. She is the driving force behind ADS' costume creations. Jimmy Burns - The founder of Angry Dog Studios, Jimmy's passion is photography and costuming. You'll see him favor either helmeted armored costumes or things that let him interact with the audience via

unique puppetry based designs. You can track his photography at his AngryDogPhotography page. Bill Winans - Bill joined Brandi and Jimmy to become a part of ADS at some measurable point in the past. Bill loves to build props. You'll find him sanding away at a rifle, helmet or armor at any given moment. Jessica Winans - Jessica is our incredibly talented lawyer and costumer. When we are in doubt about anything we look to her. She usually looks back at us and laughs at us.

Jinx has bass.

Doing a couple upgrades for Jinx just before Dragon*Con. Adding an exciter and sound panel to hopefully make him more understandable when on a loud convention floor. Might turn the bass down a bit…

Looks like someone shared my video of the Seagulls from DragonCon 8 years ago on TikTok. Glad to see they are still getting some love all these years later. If you came here from TikTok, the seagulls were a small project for a close group of friends and are not currently for sale. FYI, they are begging out side the gates of a closing sushi shop in the video.

We had a great time opening the new building with JINX and friends at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center this morning.

Small shop upgrade. I needed more small parts storage so I made some quick plywood frames with printed brackets that fits nicely beneath my lathe setup.

When I pack for DragonCon, I take the props and armor off their display stands around my house so I can wear them. Packing = undecorating. Anyone else feel like this?

We are so happy to have had the opportunity to take part in bringing JINX back to Space Camp after 36 years as a part of their 40th Anniversary Celebration and Hall of Fame Dinner & Induction Ceremony. Seeing JINX roaming the halls brought back memories for so many we met. It was a wonderful experience. Thankfully, this time JINX didn't "accidently" send any kids into space!
