Well folks, we are all done for awhile. All the pups from Ziggy’s last litter have gone to amazing homes with great families! We’re really going to miss having those little babies around. Our little Juneau from this litter will have to reach 2 years old and get all her health clearances before we have our next litter.

If you’re thinking about a pup down the road, keep us in mind. We expect our next litter sometime in 2025. Also, be sure to keep an eye on this page for updates as that time approaches. If you’d like to reach us in the meantime or maybe get on a waitlist for one of Juneau’s future litters, email us via our website at Edgemontlabs.com rather than on here. It’s almost time! Ziggy’s due any minute and she’s ready!

We only have 1 pup spoken for so far so let us know if you are interested or if you know someone who might be. This will be Ziggy’s last litter and we’ve gone with Mo from Skyfirelabs again since we’ve been so happy with the pups from these two.

Ziggy is about to have her last litter of pups. We confirmed by ultrasound yesterday that she is pregnant and has a full litter in there. Pups should be born around 11/20 and ready for adoption around the middle of January!!!

Be sure to check out the website too. Www.edgemontlabs.com. We will update that too as we know more. Early deposits are being accepted now so let us know soon if you or someone you know is interested. References available.

Thank you all for your likes, loves, comments, and shares. Our little Flounder found an amazing family and went home today to the new name of “Wiley”.

We expect to have Ziggy’s last litter due sometime in the fall with pups ready around the new year (maybe even xmas!). We plan to use Skyfire’s Monster “Mo” as a sire again since he’s so amazing and the pups are incredible! Keep us in mind if you’re interested in a pup. We will be keeping one ourselves out of the upcoming litter to continue the line!

We will also be accepting deposits ahead of the next litter. PM if you are interested in adopting. We’re more than happy to talk via messenger and get you on the list. We will be off Facebook for a few months and won’t see comments or posts directly to the Edgemont page. Cheers!!

1 Black Lab boy still not spoken for. Meet Flounder. He is ready NOW and needs a good home. These pups are bred for companionship and come from strong hunting and show lines. Flounder is a total sweetheart and a water dog through and through. He loves loves to run and play. When it’s time to relax he cuddles with the best of them.

We’ve already begun potty and crate training as well as some basic commands and hes coming along nicely. Last night he made it 8 hours with no accidents!!

Update: Flounder has found a home!!! His new name will be Wiley. Keep us in mind for our next litter, hopefully with the same sire, coming next fall/early winter!

Flounder is a water dog through and through. He loves loves to run and play. Flounder has more English looks, with a blockier head. When it’s time to relax he cuddles with the best of them.

Pascal is a serious companion. He wants to be by your side at all times. He loves spending time with the other pups but when it comes down to it, he likes his humans.

About Us

We love labs! We breed primarily chocolate labs for families, and occasionally have some yellows and blacks. We’ve found that the best family dogs are a mix between hunting and show lines. Our labs are bred to spend time with you and your family whether it’s hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, going on vacation, hanging out at the office, cheering up patients in a hospital, or cuddling up with you and your kids in front of the fireplace.

Our labs have a strong hunting background. With time and attention, puppies quickly learn retrieving and obedience. We’ve found that when training our dogs, guiding their instincts is the key to success.

We only breed one dog at a time, so we are the farthest thing from a puppy mill. Every sire’s ancestry is closely scrutinized. The whole family takes special care of each pup from the minute they’re born. They are transitioned from breast milk to quality puppy food. Puppies receive all their first shots and have an initial puppy checkup prior to their adoptions at 8 weeks. Each new family receives a puppy packet with all the information you need to register your dog with the AKC.
