Keeping them looking good through winter thanks to Equine-America NZ limited

Love the ‘Pro-Sheen Coat gloss and detangler’ for keeping their manes looking sharp! I use this a couple times a week for a quick brush during winter to stop them getting too scraggly

I had the pleasure of helping a neighbour last week. They had been having trouble float loading their horse for around 2 years. They have tried on many occasions to get him loaded but to no Joy. I spent a couple of days working the horse on the ground and establish some manners and control. On the third day we tried float loading him and this is the results after 5 minutes.

About Me

My name is Marcus Spencer-Bower, 27 and I have a dream and goal to become a top rodeo cowboy and horsemen in New Zealand. I have been competing with the New Zealand Rodeo Cowboys Association for three seasons. In this time I have won a 2015/2016 ‘rookie heading title’ , 2016/2017 ‘rookie calf roping title’ and a 2017/2018 “open heading title’. Every year I have made the New Zealand national finals rodeo. I have also competed in Canada and Australia. Making the National finals and securing another title is my main focus for this season but I am also going to involve my self in other horse disciplines like cowboy challenge, horsemanship, breaking and training of horses.

I am now developing my business and going into starting/re educating horses full time, I offer many services from working with problem horses, handling young horses, breaking in and lessons. I pride my self on producing soft, quiet and safe horses that make riding enjoyable when the horse goes home. I work with both horse and owner to achieve the best possible results from very different horses from performance sport horses to social trekking horses.
