IMPORTANT UPDATE: After further discussion the campground will be closing at 7:30 pm. The gates will be locked and reopen on Wednesday at Noon. The sheriffs department and the fire department are aware that nobody should be in the campground and will be verifying. Please understand that this is for your safety and well being. We will keep you updated as always.

The weather is not looking promising at the campground tomorrow. It is subject to change but the potential for major storms is very possible. Please, do not stay at the campground. We understand you are all very eager to start camping season, but it’s simply not worth risking your lives to do so.

We have a completely volunteer run rescue, bookstore and flea market. We are always in need of new volunteers! We average around 150 cats, so there is always a lot of litter box cleaning and feeding to do. We also have a lot of other things we need help with, such as building maintenance, weeding, alphabetizing books, helping with social media, helping with the flea market, general cleaning, etc. e

And of course, if you volunteer you get to pet cats!

If you are interested stop in to see us, or you can fill out a volunteer application on our website. It’s a great way to help animals, people and your community. 💜

Sorry for the short delay in replying! We had severe weather here in indiana. To which it caused our wifi and even cell service to go out. I'm slowly getting cell service back!

If you've seen the news about Wi******er getting hit with an EF3 tornado, that's just 10 miles south of Me. 🫣
