At Riverbend Braccos our dogs share a big fenced yard and a comfortable home. You will find, within walking distance, large open parks and the beautiful American River where we spend a lot of time with our dogs. Lake Natomas also offers a large tranquil lake for our dogs to train, play and swim. We are members of Hastings Island Hunting Preserve in Rio Vista, CA so our dogs get a lot of hunting ex

posure and time in the field. Riverbend Bracco puppies are bred for their temperament, conformation, hunting instinct, and above all versatility. We also know that you hunt with a dog approximately 90 days a year (if you are lucky!), but you live with them 365 days a year. So a good disposition and socialization are extremely important. Your Riverbend puppy will be socialized from birth to 8 weeks old. All puppies will receive their first shots and wormings. They will have dew claws left intact and tails docked. Riverbend also tests each puppy with a Puppy Test to help match the best puppy to your family. This is a great benefit to you as you make the tough decision of which puppy to adopt. And once your puppy is home, Riverbend is only a call or email away for ongoing breed support

Please help support the Bracco Italiano Health Foundation. The blood/urine collections (phase III) done at the National Specialty will hopefully get us to the number of samples necessary to get to Phase IV). The Bracco Heath Foundation is trying to raise $40,000.00 for Phase IV which will be a genome study at UC Davis to try to find a marker for kidney disease. Dr. Christensen is pleased to announce that the AKC has approved their “Kokopelli Hump Day Webinars” for credit towards qualification for their Bred with H.E.A.R.T. program. This includes all past webinars. All that is required is sending notification of attendance to the AKC. We can provide more information for all who are interested.

Our webinar a week from today with AKC All-Breed Judge, Pat Trotter, on breeding for function will be an excellent one for all who are working towards this certification.
