Looking for a freelance/self employed member to join Upton House Farm and Livery over the winter months.

All usual yard duties including-
Mucking out on big straw beds
Turning out/in/putting on horse walker.
Making feeds
Haynets
Potential riding/exercising depending on ability
Keeping the yard tidy&presentable!!

Would suit someone looking for 2/3 days a week, not a silly amount of work, with tea/coffee making facilities.☕️ Must be able to use initiative and work independently☺️

Here at Upton House, Beeford, East Yorkshire, we have a space becoming available for full / assisted livery.

We offer a service of either full 6 day livery(diy on Sunday’s and bank holidays) or assisted (5 days full livery) also unavailable on Sundays.

Both of these packages are very competitive and all have unlimited Hay/haylage and straw.

Our stables all are extra large (smallest are 14x15) with automatic Drinkers.

We also have a 40x45 arena with jumps and is also flood lit. This is available to use all year round. A 6 bay horse Walker, and a lunge pen with also a sand and rubber surface.

Our fields are post and railed with electric, which also have automatic drinkers. Due to our fields being so large, we cannot offer individual turn out, but mainly mares and geldings are kept separate.

We have a lockable feed and tack room with a small area to make a cuppa!

Upton House has access to off road with distances to suit all.

▪️ Show preparation (plaiting, mane/tail pulling, bathing/bandaging etc)

Easter holidays + no school = Practice practice practice!!!

New combination, Isabel & Magic are being put through their paces this morning with their stable neighbour and instructor Joanne Wilson!

When the fields are a little too wet and liveries opt to preserve their fields (and shoes!), there’s no better sight than seeing happy and relaxed horses. They definitely had that weekend feeling!
