Our Aquariums are for sale, this is your chance to have a fantastic looking rack of tanks in your home or fish room. And don't stop at one, we can do deals on more than one. Why not have an instant fish room!
The racks are about 7 foot tall. Any questions do ask.

Shop Aquarium Racking Sale.

We are now selling these as individual racks each containing 3 tanks.
Each rack has 3 sets of lighting and has inlets and outlets on each tank. there is no filtration as they were run as a recirculation system in the shop. It will be very easy to add your own filtration via a sump or individual filtration as the tanks were designed to be isolated or run together.

Currently, the tanks are in storage in Ferndown Dorset.

They are £450 per rack, but if you would like several racks we can talk about the price.

The Aquariums are ready for sale!
These are a complete fish room for an Aquatic centre, Aquatic shop, fish shop, Breeding centre, hobbyists, education / learning centre, the possibilities are endless!
In the pictures, they are in a rectangle shape fitting the room they were in, but they could be put in any form you wish. They are designed to be used as a recirculation system - with each tank being able to be isolated easily and quickly if needed.

Included :
3 Tier units with 3 x 48" x 18" x 15" high tanks including lighting, vinyl backs & ends, fascia & framework. x 14
One unit with 4 tiers with 2 x 48" x 18" x15" tanks and 2 x 48" x 18" x 6" tanks - ideal for inverts/ nanos.
One unit with 3 tiers with 3 x 60" x 18" x 15" high cages with front locking doors including lighting, vinyl backs & ends, fascia & framework.
End panels for the configuration it was made for, extra panels would be available from John Allan.

All the pipework is included, you may need to replace the flexible hosing ( 2 rolls of 1 inch).
lighting was tested before we moved them and all were working but sold as seen.

Today we were able to start removing the aquariums from the shop. Just a few days less than 3 years dince we had to close. It has been a very long road to get to this point and it's not quite over yet.
The aquariums need to be sold to allow us to move forward with our community interest company we now are trying to get going, the sale allowing us clear remaining debts.
The tanks are in very good condition and really need fish in them.
Whilst starting to take them apart it occoured to me how many people loved coming to see the fish. The children who have happy memories of visiting "The fish shop".
It made me wonder if we could use the tanks to bring learning and meaningful work for those who may need it with the tanks.?
The key to this would be funding..........

It has been a long two and half years since we closed the doors on the shop, a lot of heartbreak, but we never give up, and here we are a newly formed community interest company. We now need funds in order to bring the site to life and help others learn about farming fish and growing food. A totally different concept to the shop and a not for profit company, but still with fish - always at the centre of everything in our lives is the fish

Today 1st November is a very special day. After almost a year of learning, recovery, and connecting with amazing people New Forest Aquaponics officially becomes a community interest company. Happy tears as we can now get on with helping others learn, grow, and connect. At our core of everything we do is valuing people and our biosphere.

As winter approaches it is time to start thinking about getting your pond ready for winter. October is a great time to have your pond cleaned, filters looked at and checked, and plants trimmed back.

These are almost the last fish left from when we had the shop. We will not be doing any more imports of Koi, these were selected by Dave to keep and grow on with the view to breeding with in the future. Pond cleaning. Last week Dave and Robbie sorted out this pond. The first two pictures show the pond before they started. The next two the pond after they had moved all the plants and mud. Holes were found and patched . Robbie rescued a slow worm, here you can see the bright blue spots on its skin, and a friendly robin joined them for lunch!
