Our family of volunteers is dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and caring for homeless dogs and cats while we find them their forever homes. We promote spay/neuter programs to help reduce pet overpopulation and work within communities throughout Illinois to assist and educate the public about responsible pet owners

For today's , we’re thrilled to share an update on Skelly Ton, the 4-year-old Westie who was adopted in November. After a rough start, he’s now thriving in his forever home.

Thanks to the amazing care and collaboration between Skelly’s new family and their vets, his fur has fully grown back, and he’s looking better than ever! Skelly is living his best life now, feeling loved and spoiled every day.

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to Skelly’s new family for giving him the second chance he so deserved. ❤️

Meet Whiteriver!
Whiteriver is a 3 year old Domestic Short Hair with a gentle heart looking for a calm loving home. He grew up in a house with many cats and not enough human attention so he feels safest with other cats. He’ll need a home with feline friends or be adopted with another cat to feel secure.

Whiteriver is neutered and great with other cats but he needs a quiet space to truly thrive. He might hide at first but with a little patience he’ll warm up and could become the lap cat of your dreams. Starting him in a small room will help him adjust and build trust as he learns to ask for love and attention.

Say hello to Buddy!

Buddy is a 7 year old Maltese Shih Tzu mix who is a loyal companion. He enjoys going for walks, running outside, and keeping a watchful eye on things as a little watchdog.

He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a wonderful addition to any home. He is neutered and healthy, but he will need some assistance with house training.

Buddy’s journey began when he was adopted from ARF in 2019, where he was showered with love. Unfortunately, his elderly owner can no longer care for him, and now Buddy is on a quest for his new forever home. He dreams of a place where he can feel safe, happy, and free to play

Meet Maple! This adorable orange tabby is on the hunt for her forever home. She is a shy kitty, and she takes a while to warm up to new people. She will need a quiet home with a patient human who will give her all of the time she needs to feel comfortable. Slow introductions are key to helping Maple settle into her new space. She would also love another gentle, playful cat in her new home!

Meet Kazoo!
Kazoo is a 4.5 month old Morkie with a big heart and a tiny 4.6 pound frame. Sweet, cuddly, and playful, he’s ready to find his forever home!
He’s making great progress with crate training, sleeps through the night, and is p*e pad trained. Kazoo enjoys brushing, baths, car rides, and even walks in a puppy sling. He loves playing fetch with his foster’s other dogs and thrives on companionship.

Foster or foster-to-adopt opportunity available for one-year-old Golden Retriever and Dalmatian. Both dogs are well-suited for homes with dogs and children, are house trained, crate trained. Not tested with cats. Known for their exceptionally sweet nature.

Cute & cuddly Cooper is our handsome male Cockalier puppy weighing about 20 pounds. In the short time he’s spent with his foster family, as you can see from the pictures, he loves toys, has mastered the art of couch surfing & cuddling, and obviously gets along with other dogs (they do make the best nap buddies)! Being a young pup (6 months old), he’s working on potty training & leash walking and making good progress so far.
