A.R.F.-Animal Rescue Foundation is a non-profit rescue group with a mission to help homeless animals.

Our family of volunteers is dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and caring for homeless dogs and cats while we find them their forever homes. We promote spay/neuter programs to help reduce pet overpopulation and work within communities throughout Illinois to assist and educate the public about responsible pet owners

Say hello to your new best friend! Kylo is a 4-year-old, 70-pound Black Lab with a heart as big as his personality. After surviving life as a stray, Kylo is ready to trade his bachelor days for a forever family. Crate-trained and a sucker for stuffed animals, he’ll steal your heart with his cuddles and charm. While he’s sweet as can be, Kylo’s excitement means he’s better suited for homes without small kids.

He’s recovering from heartworm treatment (good as new by mid-January!) and is ready to start his new chapter. 🐕💜

Today, we'd like to feature two adoptable kitties from our friends at the Almost Home Foundation.

Juno (1.5-year-old female Siamese) and Tortellini (9-month-old grey male) love to play, run around the house, and cuddle together on chairs, couches, and pillows. The kitties just want to be in whatever room their humans are in, but they are still gaining confidence with being held or carried. They do enjoy being pet and being played with using feather and ribbon toys.

These kitties are territorial, so they need to be the only cats in a home. They do get along with a calm dog. This curious, playful, and sweet pair deserves the chance to find a loving family to foster or adopt them, so they can see what real love is. Almost Home Founsation is looking for someone who is patient and cat-experienced to take in these beautiful cats.

Tortellini is a fighter! His mama, Athena, came to Almost Home Foundation pregnant with 4 kittens. Unfortunately, she lost three of her babies. With bottle feeding and determination, Tortellini managed to beat the odds and is a thriving, playful kitten. Tortellini was raised by his mama, Athena, but also by his second mama, Juno.

Juno and Tortellini are bonded and they must be adopted together.

Christmas Angel didn’t make it to her forever home before the holiday but there’s still time to adopt this adorable little girl before the new year!

Angel is a loving dog and wants nothing more than to be snuggling next to you. You may say she is a sort of Angel 😇 She eats well, walks well on a leash (with an occasional bark at other dogs to say hi 👋🏼), is house trained and is good with other dogs her size or smaller (she’s around 15 lbs) and would love a home with a fenced yard to play in! A home with kids and people to play with are ideal! At somewhere between 3-5 years old, she has a lot of years ahead to spend with YOU!

Fosters needed! We can’t rescue these dogs unless we find a foster or foster to adopt home. They are one-year-old Mastiff Can Corso brothers. They are good with dogs and kids, as well as are house and crate trained by their original owner.

We are beyond excited to announce that A.R.F. has been awarded a generous $25,000 grant from the DuPage Foundation’s Community Impact grant program! 🙌 This funding will support our Medical Miracles program, which helps provide life-saving medical care for dogs and cats in DuPage County.

Thank you, DuPage Foundation, for helping us continue our mission to rescue and care for the most vulnerable animals in our community. This grant will allow us to ensure that more pets in need receive the medical treatment they deserve, so they can find their loving forever homes. ❤️
