Thank you for the beautiful photos of you and your senior rescue, Chloe! Please read her beautiful words below about the joys of rescuing a senior dog. And if you feel moved by her words and you want to consider adopting a lil old one, please look into . Muttville is a wonderful small dog rescue in the SF Bay Area that Kangapooch has had a relationship with for years now & they have oodles and oodles of little old dogs that are looking for their forever home. Posted • recently, someone asked me why we would ever adopt a senior dog given their shorter life expectancy, and here’s what I have to say!

age is just a number and the love and JOY Chloe brings into our lives are timeless. every dog, regardless of age, deserves a chance at a happy and loving home, and adopting a senior dog is not just about the time you spend together, it’s about making the later part of their life something special✨yes, their time with us may be shorter, but the impact they have on our lives is immeasurable! 🫶🏼

seniors often end up in shelters, scared and unsure of their fate 😭 which always makes me think about the last 6 months of Ricky’s life when his dementia clouded him in fear and confusion. the thought of him experiencing those health struggles in a shelter breaks my heart 💔

let’s end the stereotype that older dogs are any less valuable than younger dogs because they are truly so, so special✨

anyways, we just love our little Chlo and are so thankful we get to come home to her (and of course Jo and bean) everyday ツ

• New cat lady achievement unlocked! My friends Chelsea and Michael have been making the since 2007! I was actually surprised she was into it.

Mingo and his human in their brand new Kangapooch!
Posted • Mingo got a new pouch today and it is one of the best ones we've tried. Now to get some better weather so we can put it to the walking test. I think it'll be especially good for winter walks because it should fit under my jacket and he can be nice and cozy. 🥰

We created the Kangapooch for travel, but an unintended use was brought to us by from Tufts at Tech Community Veterinary Clinic. Please read her message below on how they use the Kangapooch to help tiny patients recover from medical procedures. Thank you Danielle for your photos, your testimony & for the very important work you do!

"Hello! I recently purchased one of your carriers for my 14 week old puppy. She adores it and sits patiently at my feet when she sees me putting it on.
I also work as a certified veterinary technician at a veterinary clinic that provides low-cost care for pets from underserved communities. We are a teaching hospital and teach veterinary students and veterinary assisting students. (Tufts @ Tech Community Veterinary Clinic). I brought my Kangapooch to work and we have quickly realized what an amazing comfort it is to our surgical patients! A lot of our patients are small chihuahua mixes and they love curling up inside the pouch as they recover from surgery. And our 4th year veterinary students love to carry their patients with them after they finish performing surgeries! I've attached a couple photos - one with my puppy and one of 4th year Tufts Veterinary student Eleanor with a dog she spayed today. Thanks for making such a great product!!"

From one of our clients, in Hawaii: “We rescued a dog from the street, cleaned her up, and took her to humane society in the kangapooch :) she loved it and being in the pooch calmed her down.” We are so glad that the Kanagpooch was useful In the rescue! Repost: Look at how ridiculously cute this sh*t is! @kangapooch size 2X fits me and #jackjakismyfavorite perfectly! Yes its come to this. Hes slow on walks and sometimes cant keep up. He will be 15 in a few days and iv decided at that point he doesnt have to do anything he doesnt want to do. So here we are. I'm the crazy dog person with a sachel for my animal. I'm sure it will come in handy with my future senior dog rescue as well. Thank you @kangapooch for such a cute, comfortable product in a big enough size for me! The fabric Jack sits in is soooooo super soft and stretchy too!
