Last week we asked for some donations of crucially needed items, like kibble and Carnivore Care for the rescue, and sadly have not managed to receive any. This year has been exceptionally hard for us, both on the rescue and personal fronts. We have had to do so much more with less than before and unfortunately, that leaves a deficit. The ferrets are almost completely out of dry-food, we've had to order more prey for the wildlings (Spicy will be released this weekend) and the other mink.

Dr Elsey's Clean Protein Cat Kibble - 6x 6.6lbs bags (duck, turkey or rabbit flavor)
Wysong Epigen 90 Ferret DS - 4x 5lbs bags

We would LOVE to be able to get back to doing more educational posts on here, instead of having to beg and plead each time to just be able to keep the rescue going, we hate so much to sound like such a broken record.

A Eurasian otter (Lutra lutra) enters a couples home and sleeps in their bed! ''The cushions were everywhere, the candle set was in pieces on the floor and there was sick on the carpet. That's when we went into the bedroom and found the otter asleep on our bed.''

An otter snuck into the home of Linda and Pete Goldie in the village of Skinburness in England. It's believed the animal came inside through a pet gate. Eventually they managed to get the otter off the bed and out of the house.
