Mystic the Dog - Senior Severely Injured Blind Chow Dumped on very busy Hwy Mystic was SEVERELY ABUSED & INJURED then thrown out on the side of Hwy 7 near Mystic Caverns at the Newton County/Boone County Line

Mystic suffered severe abuse before being dumped. Her worst injury is her broken nose that makes eating & drinking water very difficult - she is receiving pain meds 4 times a day to allow her to eat. Her Left Rear Leg is luxated resulting in the tearing of tendon, ligament and/or cartilage - she will probably never use that leg again. Her Right Rear Leg had a severe laceration encircling it that w

as an old injury that was beginning to fester - she is receiving antibiotics twice daily & we need prayers that she will use that leg soon as she is immobile at the moment. Mystic's Right eye is blind & both eyes are infected - she is being treated for that twice a day. She was also infested w/fleas & ticks & tapeworms - she is being treated for those as well. Mystic will need quite a bit of follow up care as well as some TLC so her golden years are filled w/love & not abuse, pain nor injury.

Reminder.It takes only minutes for a pet left in a vehicle on a warm day to succumb to heatstroke and suffocation. Most people don’t realize how hot it can get in a parked car on a balmy day. However, on a 78 degree day, temperatures in a car parked in the shade can exceed 90 degrees — and hit a scorching 160 degrees if parked in the sun! In many states it is against the law,expect a broken window,fine or even jail time.Temps are warming up in the U.S. We care, please share.

A reward of $2,500 in the case of a brown and tan Rottweiler that was found with most of its nose and ears torn off near Livernois and Warren on Detroit's southwest side.
