Hi Everyone,
I wanted to announce that I'll be closing up shop and no longer ferret boarding.

I wanted to thank all of my clients, those that took in my fosters and the ferret community for the amazing last 6 years of support❤️

But this is not goodbye forever, those who take there little ones to my clinic will still have me as an exotic vet nurse,

But for now I'll be putting my focus on my studies. So that one day, I'll hopefully be able to look after your ferrets as an exotic vet💓

Hi, my name is Kat,
I love seeing such a variety of patients every day and laughing with my amazing co-workers. My favourite patients would have to be either ferrets or red-belly black snakes. I'm also super passionate about wildlife and am currently studying a Bachelor of Biodiversity and Conservation to help further improve outcomes for wildlife.

I love these cards, they're so cute❤️❤️❤️

Ferrets belong to the weasel family and have long slender bodies. Although they are often categorised under 'unusual pet ' or 'exotics pet', DNA tests have shown that ferrets have been domesticated for 2500 years! Their name 'ferret' is derived from the Latin word furritus, meaning 'little thief' - which, if you are a ferret owner, I'm sure you cannot agree more! They are very curious and cheeky, love to 'steal' and hide food and small objects, and, of course, are very good at stealing one's heart♥️ I chose daisy flowers in the background as they mean innocence, joy and cheerfulness, which fit with this special creatures' personalities well.
I plan to make this illustration into greeting cards and art prints.
