This weekend we said goodbye to our very first BoPeep - The big boss, Mr Iggy
Our first born Valais Blacknose and stock ram for the past 2 years. He will always hold a very special place in our hearts
Iggy has been the backbone of our flock breeding some superstars including BoPeep Jilly, the Overall Champion at the first ever Irish Valais Blacknose show in 2022 and again this year breeding the Overall Champion, BoPeep Klyde, at the very first
We are delighted that he is going to join a new flock and hope he breeds as well and Matty Kelly as he has done for us
Although Iggy leaves an irreplaceable hole here at BoPeep, we do have a very exciting new member joining us very soon to bring some new full Swiss fresh blood to Ireland for the coming breeding season

Jellybaby is a first time mama and she is doing an amazing job rearing her babies
They are a perfect pair of smart little ladies, sired by our new stock ram Kaiser. Now just over 3 weeks old, we are excited to continue to watch them grow and hope they get some show days out this summer here , but nevertheless the will be soon ready for rehoming if anyone is interested kindly send us a direct message thanks

A shepherdess' dream comeLast week we ascended the alps to help the local shepherds of the Zimmerman flock bring their Valais Blacknose sheep home for the annual grading event and winter lambingHundreds of sheep and their chiming bells made their way down Gibidum mountain towards the village of Visperterminen at 7am. There they gathered in the stone enclosure so the shepherds could separate them out by flock in preparation for grading - They were even blessed along the way!!
