Sherlock got to meet his pug cousins this weekend , Brisket’s siblings Vinny and Mia came out for a offleash adventure walk. His big brother and sister Gandhi and Luna came out too.

Training at this age is about controlled socialization, learning to confidently navigate new terrain and just being a dog.

It’s important to introduce your puppy to neutral dogs. Although they did play a little most of this walk was just enjoying walking together as a pack and exploring the environment.

Mr. Sherlock helped little Lucy meet her first other dog after being in her new home. First day home, but straight to work for this little guy! As well as training detection work he will be a big help for regular dog training with K9 Addict Dog Training

What’s the first thing we do with a new puppy? Off leash walk with the help of the pugs. It’s so rare a 7 week old puppy would actually run off. Especially one that came from a good breeder and has lots of human interaction. We didn’t use food here, but if you’re worried bring some high value treats! Don’t wait until the teenage stage to build a bond offleash!
