Check out my new sheep friends! 🐑 Our neighbor got sheep a while ago, and recently, the sheep had babies! There are 3 lambs next door and I'm obsessed. 😍 Sometimes I get too excited, though, and run too fast up to the fence and scare them, and then I'm sad that they won't come over to play with me. 😞 But when I'm well behaved, they come over to visit, and I'm so happy. 🥰 It took my hoomans so long to post this, though, the little lambs aren't so little anymore! And check out the comments for a video - look at my happy tail! 😁

🎉 IT'S MY GOTCHA DAY!! 🥳 I can't believe it's been 8 years since my family first brought me home. 😲 I was thought to be about 1 year old or less, so I'm around 9 now, but my hoomans say I'm still their precious puppy. 🥰

Hey everyone! Chance’s mom here. Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but we just wanted to stop in to say Chance is fine and doing well. We’ve all been busy with work and life, and we did have a little health issue with Chance recently that has since cleared up.
Several weeks ago, Chance suddenly became severely itchy; we thought it was from bug bites at first and tried giving him Benadryl and treating the bites, but he only got worse. 😞 We took him to the vet, where they said he probably developed seasonal allergies, and gave him an allergy shot and medicated bath wash to use twice a week. While he wasn’t very happy about all the extra spa days, he instantly improved and has been doing great so far. The vet said if the itching doesn’t come back after the shot wears off (it’s supposed to last several weeks), then he should be fine. 🤞 If the itching comes back, he may have a persistent allergy problem and may need regular shots, but we’re hoping that won’t be the case.
Now that the itching is gone, Chance is back to his happy self, and has been having so much fun lately with all his new friends—one of our neighbors has new baby lambs, and our other neighbor has two new dogs. Chance is obsessed with all of them. 😂 We’ll try to post pictures of Chance’s adventures with the sheep family soon, but in the meantime, here’s a photo dump to get you caught up since we’ve been away. 😊

Just dropping in to say hi! We wanted to do a Thanksgiving post, we really did, but Mommy and Auntie got the dreaded 'Rona and were sick for the couple weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. 🥴 Everyone's better now, but it's still Mommy's busy season at work and the humans are trying to do a lot to get ready for the holidays. I know humans tend to get really stressed this time of year, so I wanted to send you all a smile and say we hope you're all doing well and trying to stay positive while getting ready for the holidays this year! 😊

🎃 Happy Halloween 🎃 from our little pumpkin! 🥰 No, we didn't get a costume this year... 🫣 But, Chance did get to go to a pumpkin patch (see previous post if you haven't already), so we thought we'd pose him with all the pumpkins we picked out at the festival! 🎃 Have a safe, spooky, and happy Halloween, everyone! 👻🦇🎃

Oh my gourd! 🍁🍂🎃 This weekend Mommy and Auntie took me to a fall festival pumpkin patch, and I had so much fun! I was a very good boy, especially with all the little kids who kept coming over to pet me. ☺️ I even got to meet a goat! 😱 Someone was walking around with a goat on a leash and I was so confused but fascinated, because I'd never met one before! 🐐 I was so excited, Mommy was having a hard time getting me to sit still for pictures, but we got a few, with a special appearance by Mommy's arm. 😁

Goodbye Milton! 👋 Thank you everyone for the well wishes with the hurricane. We're doing okay - just got power and Internet back (no AC yet), but no major damage, just a lot of clean up to do now. This picture was from when the outer rain bands started moving in. Chance wasn't too happy about the rain but he was such a good boy during the storm. 🤗 We hope all of our Florida friends are doing okay!

Chance's family here: We were lucky to avoid much damage from Hurricane Helene, and we're aware of just how fortunate we were. We're still very saddened to see the devastation Helene has caused, and we're hoping for peace and healing for everyone who's been affected by the storm. ❤️‍🩹 But now we're even sadder to see another storm following along so soon. 😞
While we weren't in the path of Helene, we are, unfortunately, in the direct path of Hurricane Milton, and we're shocked by how powerful this storm has gotten already. Our home and property are pretty secure, so we're sure we'll be ok; and of course, we're doing everything we can to make sure Chance stays calm and happy (including building him an indoor potty). But we're still preparing for the worst while hoping for the best. Our prayers are with everyone in the path of the storm. 🙏 Please stay safe out there! ❤️

Going for a stroll in between rain bands from Hurricane Helene. 🌀 We're not in the path so we're safe, just getting a lot of wind and rain, but we hope anyone out there in the path of the storm stays safe!
