Homer, I met this senior man of 13 years when he was 2 years old. A feral rescue who is living the good life. The aviary on the patio keeps him quite entertained with doves, finches, squirrels and opossums. Thank you to the owner for caring and rescuing.

I met 9 year old Lily when she was about two years old. Pretty much lived on the top of the refrigerator. The other cats didn't particularly like her. She lives with Homer, does well with him. No longer living on the refrigerator. The goal is to socialize her with new kid on the block, Mr. Finch.

Meet 2 year old Mr. Finch. I met him at the age of six months. He was an outdoor kitty scrounging around for food and getting into fights. A resident in the complex took him to the veterinarian, had his injury taken care of and he was neutered and vaccinated. Now lives indoors, no longer scrounging for food and comfort.

Ann Marie’s Background

I am an 'in your home' pet sitter, animal care giver and/or house sitter. I went to Mt. SAC to study Animal Health Technology to become a Registered Veterinary Technician, which is similar to a human nurse. I've worked in emergency/critical care, general practice, also in hospitals where the specialty was caring for exotic animals.

I helped raise funds to build an animal care center in Orange County and later was a volunteer manager for 3 years. I've also volunteered in animal shelters mainly focusing on felines with a passion for feral cats.

I had the opportunity to work in the Gorilla Compound of the LA Zoo.
