Another year has nearly gone and once again thank you to all that have supported Hounds at Home. I have had the pleasure of walking some fun dogs, some without breaks, some that smile, some that talk others just want cuddles as are so small and hate the Scottish weather all great commendians and full of character. Lovely boarders who have stayed that are a credit to their owners and have also made some lovely friends on the way.
I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New year.

Did you know, legally your dog must wear an ID tag when out in public?

Whether the dog is on their lead or not they still need to wear an ID tag.

This should have the owners name (not pets name incase of dog theft), phone number & address including your postcode.

If your dog doesn’t have an ID tag you can be charged with an unlimited fine. So we highly recommend getting one for the dogs who don’t have.

Hope this helps for the people that didn’t know.

I need some help!

Its this time of the year when I have no idea what to say.
This year has been great fun, with the added bonus of new dogs and new walks, all of which has kept me on my toes.
My daughter continually tells me I am not fashionable walking around in water proofs, long coats and woolly hats, I just love it!
What I am really trying to say is a big "Thank you" to everyone past and present for entrusting me with their dogs, be it walking or home boarding.
So here's to another year, enjoy Christmas and wishing you all a happy new year when it comes.
